[Blue Archive] The charm of a collectible RPG that feels almost like raising a Tamagotchi

Hello!

I’m Nexon PEAKER PEAKSTIME.

260125 Blue Archive Tamagotchi

Tamagotchi is a life sim where you

raise a virtual pet inside a tiny device.

These days, mobile devices are so common

that people hardly even use the name Tamagotchi anymore, but

that special feeling of raising a character of your own

has lived on through mobile collectible RPGs.

Just like Tamagotchi,

students with all kinds of unique traits!

Students

I came back to Blue Archive last year,

and I still log in from time to time to enjoy the content.

One of the best things about Blue Archive’s students is that, like Tamagotchi characters,

they all have their own distinct looks and personalities.

Aru

Aru, one of my favorite Blue Archive characters,

comes off as tough on the outside, but she’s actually soft-hearted underneath.

And her adorably clumsy moments throughout the story only make her even cuter.

Rio

Rio is another character I personally really like,

because even though she looks cool-headed and mature,

her life skills and social skills are kind of a disaster, so she has that clumsy charm too.

I guess I really do have a thing for characters who are tough outside, soft inside!

Adorable SD characters!

Lift up

Blue Archive’s students

have 3D models alongside their illustrations.

K-003

In the Cafe content, different students

drop by the cafe every day and wander around,

and they’re so cute that I could just watch them forever.

Communication happens through MomoTalk!

MomoTalk

There’s also the in-game messaging system called MomoTalk,

which gives the students even more personality.

Apparently I’m so popular that I’ve got 232 messages piled up 😂

So today, I took a look at the charm of collectible RPGs

that carry over the appeal of Tamagotchi.

Do you have a game like this that feels a bit like Tamagotchi too?
