생성형 인공지능으로 달라진 게임 생활, 스케치풍 캐릭터 설정화 만들기

생성형 인공지능이 익숙해진 요즘, 게임을 즐기면서 가장 달라진 점이 있다면 '자캐짤'을 얻는 방식이다. 이에 대해서 가볍게 이야기해 보려고 한다.

자캐짤과 커미션

자캐짤은 자작 또는 자신의 캐릭터 이미지(짤방)를 의미한다.

RPG를 즐기는 유저들은 자신이 커스터마이징한 캐릭터를 자캐짤로 남겨두기도 했는데, 금손 유저라면 직접 그리면 그만이었지만, 그렇지 않은 유저들은 '커미션'이라는 의뢰를 통해 비용을 지불하고 창작자에게 그림을 부탁해야 했다.

수정 요청 횟수도 제한적이거나 추가 비용이 들어간다. 기간도 최소 며칠부터 몇 개월까지 걸리는 경우도 많았다.

이제 누구나 손쉽게 얻을 수 있다

요즘은 AI에게 원하는 대로 요구할 수 있고, 몇 분 내에 바로 결과물을 받아볼 수 있으며, 몇 번이고 수정 요청을 할 수 있게 됐다.

얼마 전까지는 챗GPT로 지브리풍으로 그리는 것이 유행이었고, 한 번은 나노바나나로 피규어 버전을 그리는 것이 유행이었다가, 다시 챗GPT로 돌아와 낙서풍 그림이 트렌드를 타고 있다.

예를 들어, 아래 프롬프트는 얼마 전부터 게임 커뮤니티에서 퍼지기 시작한 스케치풍 설정화 프롬프트다. 챗GPT에서 이미지 만들기를 설정하고 프롬프트를 붙여넣으면 상당히 매력적인 결과물을 받을 수 있다.
