Hello, this is Game Sky.

Today, we’ll continue with the MapleLand Snowflake Coin event quests. With today’s quest, the Winter Preparation event also comes to an end. So if you still haven’t cleared these quests, make sure to do them before tomorrow is over. You’ll want to collect as many Snowflake Coins as possible and buy up all the event items Gaga is selling. Anyway, today we’ll go over Sleepywood’s Winter Preparation, which you can accept from Sabitrama.

Then let’s get started.

Sabitrama

Sabitrama, the herb fanatic, is probably best known for quests where he asks you to bring back all kinds of strange herbs. It’s been a while since we last ran into him. Anyway, let’s talk to him.

He immediately says there’s a serious problem. The issue is Flame Herb, the most valuable medicinal herb in Sleepywood. It’s a plant that gives off heat on its own, so it never freezes even in the cold snow. It’s already one of the hardest herbs to find, but now the monsters have started gobbling it up, so he asks you to get it back before they finish it all.

In short, he asks you to hurry into the dungeon and recover the 5 Flame Herbs the monsters swallowed. With that, let’s head to the dungeon.

How to Get Flame Herb

It’s been a while since I last visited the Ant Tunnel dungeon. When people think of Sleepywood, Ant Tunnel I is usually the classic hotspot. It used to be a popular party hunting map for players around level 15 to 30. These days, though, with more maps and updates, there are a lot more training spots for newer players, so Ant Tunnel I doesn’t feel nearly as popular as it once was. In any case, I hunted monsters until all 5 Flame Herbs dropped. Once I had all 5, I headed back to Sabitrama.

Rewards

When you return to Sabitrama, he’s surprised you already gathered the Flame Herbs, and says it’s a good thing you brought them back before the monsters could eat them all. Still, one question does come to mind—why were the monsters so eager to eat such a hot herb in the first place?

Anyway, clearing the Sleepywood Winter Preparation quest rewards you with 1 Snowflake Coin. Compared to the earlier Victoria Island quest rewards, this one also gives a bit more EXP. Of course, it’s still only 800 EXP.

After getting the Snowflake Coin, I bought another 2x EXP Coupon and managed to buy out all 5 in stock. Now all that’s left is to head to a hunting map and start grinding. There are other good items in the shop too, of course, but EXP is always hard to come by...

Wrapping Up

Today, we went over Sleepywood’s Winter Preparation. I wanted to clear the Winter Preparation quest on the Ossyria continent as well, but I’m really not feeling well enough for that today. Still, the good news is that I bought all the EXP coupons. I do feel a little disappointed, though, since the 4-slot item that costs 2 Snowflake Coins was pretty tempting.

That’s all from Game Sky. Thanks for reading!
