Mrs. Ming Ming

Anyway, it’s been a really long time since I last saw Mrs. Ming Ming. Feels like almost a year. Let’s start the quest!

Mrs. Ming Ming says it’s gotten really cold lately, and times like this are exactly when you need to dress warmly. According to her, young people these days care too much about looking stylish, so they skip proper thermal underwear even in weather like this... not the smartest move. She comes off a little old-fashioned(?), but really, she’s just worried they’ll catch a cold. She also says wearing thermal underwear is a win-win since it helps with heating, saves energy, and is good for your health too. The player seems to get where she’s coming from and says they’ll make sure to wear it properly.

Since the player understands her feelings, she says that’s good to hear. As it happens, she had just made 5 Red Thermal Underwear, but the monsters around Henesys ran off with them, so she asks the player for help.

Anyway, the quest objective is simple: bring back the 5 Red Thermal Underwear that the monsters around Henesys took.

How to Get Red Thermal Underwear

Getting Red Thermal Underwear isn’t difficult. Just head to a nearby map like Henesys Hunting Ground 1, or any hunting map close by, and defeat any monster around Henesys.

Just keep hunting until Red Thermal Underwear starts dropping. Stay there until you’ve collected all 5, then head back to Mrs. Ming Ming.

Rewards

When you return to Mrs. Ming Ming, she confirms that these are indeed the 5 Red Thermal Underwear she lost, and says that thanks to the player, the people in the village will be able to stay warm this winter.

She says Orange Mushroom is seriously mischievous, and that she’ll keep them safe so they don’t get stolen again. Then she adds the meta line, “Surely they won’t steal them again, right?” which immediately makes you feel like they probably will. That kind of fits, though, since Mrs. Ming Ming is such a scatterbrained character. Anyway, I managed to get 1 Snowflake Coin, which is basically the hot item in MapleLand right now.

Wrapping Up

Today, we looked at Preparing Henesys for Winter. I’ve already bought two EXP coupons, so now I only have 3 remaining on my account. And as for the Victoria Island winter prep quests, there are now only 2 left in total.
