By now, after spending time in Erinn and following the goddess’s call,

you’ve probably heard all kinds of stories while working through problems alongside your companions.

But since you can’t always take your time and watch every story scene,

I’ve heard there are plenty of adventurers who simply skip past them.

Still, those skipped story scenes contain some really important lore,

so let’s take a moment to go over it together!

Make sure you watch the opening, where your adventure begins

So here I am, arriving in Erinn from Mabinogi!

But who exactly am “I,” and where even is this place?

And what kind of incident am I about to get wrapped up in?

All of that is packed into the very first chapter of the story,

and if you pay close attention here, you’ll have a much easier time understanding everything that follows.

In the original Mabinogi, you begin with Nao introducing you to Erinn,

and you can even ask what you’re supposed to do.

In Mabinogi Mobile, though, you’re thrown straight into a commotion the moment you start.

You don’t even know who you are or why you’re here.

Nao, who should be guiding souls under the goddess’s command,

ends up traveling with you for some reason,

and if you want to learn who you really are, you have to follow the clues scattered throughout the story.

If you want to spend even more meaningful time in Erinn,

it helps to understand what kind of character your adventurer is, and what kind of place Erinn really is, right?

So don’t just let the very start of your journey slip by,

and please give it your full attention~

Don’t miss your first meeting with the goddess

If you keep following the main story, the goddess appears often and asks for your help.

Of course, you haven’t actually met her face-to-face—she only appears in dreams…? Or when you lose consciousness, and speaks to you there.

Will you ever get to meet the mysterious, slightly suspicious goddess Morrighan in person?

Just when that question starts to linger, you finally come face-to-face with Morrighan in Advent of the Goddess: “The Goddess’s Shadow”!

What kind of character is Goddess Morrighan, really?

How does she see us adventurers?

And what happens to the adventurer after that?

This is a great section to check before moving on to the next chapter,

and it focuses on Morrighan, one of the most important characters in Mabinogi, so it’s well worth your attention!

So for this part too, I recommend not skipping it and instead taking your time with each scene.

What if you’ve already skipped all the story scenes?

Even if you’ve already skipped every story scene, there’s no need to worry!

You can check a summary of the story through the Adventure Journal in the Codex menu👍

That said, because it really is a condensed summary,

it feels quite different from clearing the quests yourself and watching the story as you go.

It’s also a little disappointing that the very beginning of the adventure (the part where you meet Nao) isn’t included.

Of course, this isn’t about forcing you to watch the story!

The best way to play is always the one that fits your own style~

Even if you skip the story, make sure you at least check the key points through the Codex.
