2 Really Useful MapleStory Features ๐
ํ๋
There have been a lot of convenience patches in MapleStory over the years,
and I want to go over two of my favorites.
Scheduler
When you play MapleStory, there are just too many things to keep up withโdaily quests, bosses, Extreme Monster Park, Mu Lung Dojo, Epic Dungeon, Union quests, and more.
My memory is not that great, so I often forgot a few and ended up missing them,
so I used to keep a desktop notepad titled Maple To-Do like this,
write down what I needed to do in MapleStory, and check it while I worked through everything.
Then one day, MapleStory added a feature called the Scheduler,
and it is divided into Daily Content, Weekly Content, and Boss Content.
โ Daily Content
This covers the content you do every day in MapleStory, such as Monster Park and daily quests.
โ Weekly Content
Weekly Content includes Extreme Monster Park, Epic Dungeon, Arcane Symbol weekly quests, guild content, and more.
โ Boss Content
Boss Content includes every boss you can fight in MapleStory, and you can choose them by difficulty.
โ Mileage
For Mileage, you can claim all the Mileage you earned from bossing at once.
If you check only the content you want, you can make your own personal Scheduler like this,
and I use it so much that I look at it as soon as I launch MapleStory.
Skill Sequence
This was my hotkey setup before the Skill Sequence feature came out.
Since I play Hoyoung, there are just too many skills I need to press,
so whenever I went in to fight a boss, I was always scrambling to use skills like this,
and a lot of the time I either got hit and died or misplayed by pressing the wrong skill.
You might think, why not just use a bind skill and then burst,
but if you do that, the bind is already over by the time you finish using your skills,
which is especially bad against mobile bosses like Lucid.
So I would place my summon skills first and then use the bind,
but most of the time Lucid would not come over there, so I ended up dropping some skills and bursting anyway ใ ใ ใ
The damage loss was pretty severe, and whenever new skills were added, I also ran out of room in my hotkey setup,
so I had a lot to worry about..
Then one day, MapleStory added a feature called Skill Sequence.
You can group only the skills you want like this to create a Skill Sequence,
assign it to a hotkey, and the skills go off automatically when you press it.
It is a lot more convenient because I do not have to press everything by hand one by one,
and since the time spent inputting skills is much shorter now, even if I bind first and then use my skills, I still have plenty of time!
