Did you know that NEXON offers several free fonts, 피코?

I did.

But I didn't realize there were this many...

They currently offer an impressive 10 fonts for free.

I'd like to share a few that I use often.

I've left out Klavika NX, listed at the very top, since it's the only paid font.

NEXON Lv.1 Gothic for Headings

First up is NEXON Lv.1 Gothic.

As you'd expect from a Gothic-style font, it's easy to read.

That readability makes it a versatile choice.

It works well for titles on a PPT opening slide, a blog thumbnail, or a YouTube thumbnail.

There's also NEXON Lv.2 Gothic, but I prefer the broader shapes of Lv.1 Gothic.

NEXON MapleStory & 넥슨 배찌체 for a Cute Look

The MapleStory font has a cute, rounded look, and it's surprisingly easy to read.

It's a good choice for event announcements or news cards.

Like NEXON Gothic, it works well for headings too.

I sometimes want that rounded look, so this is probably my second most-used font.

I use 배찌체 for a similar feel. It has a more flowing look than the MapleStory font.

Its relaxed style makes it a good choice for emphasis or informal captions.

마비옛체 for Dialogue

The 마비옛체 font captures that quintessential Mabinogi feel.

I think 마비옛체 works particularly well for captions and speech bubbles.

This is Mabinogi Mobile, but doesn't using 마비옛체 alone give it such a strong Mabinogi feel?

I added this because it was frustrating to see them unable to say a word. Just talk to each other, you two!

What's the most important thing to check before using a font?

It's copyright.

Always check whether a font allows commercial use before using it, especially on YouTube.

Otherwise, you could find yourself in a legal dispute over copyright infringement.

Commercial use covers several different categories, so I recommend looking into those as well.
