The theme for this post is Tamagotchi: I wanted to share my experience with a game I check on daily and weekly, much as I would when raising a Tamagotchi.

Alongside my experiences in Challenger World, I have gathered some event details worth checking at this stage, partly as a checklist for myself now that we are a fair way into the main winter event.

[Challenger World], where I log in every day

MapleStory's events revolve around daily and weekly check-ins, which means logging in almost every day, but while there are plenty of events to keep track of, collecting the essential rewards does not take all that long, especially when I can work on several at once like this.

As I log in from Thursday onward, I gradually work through the list, one item at a time.

When I have time to finish this as well, I do feel a little sense of accomplishment.

So far, I have kept up with all the essential events without missing anything.

That said, I did manage to finish all the investigation missions and then go hunting without actually applying the upgrades—not my finest moment..

I am looking forward to seeing how much of a difference this week's final reward, the Fairy Heart, will make.

As of today, I am done with the Arcane River daily Symbol quests, which is quite a relief.

This is the moment I finished my last daily quest in this Challenger World, though it later occurred to me that I would probably need to do them again if another pass came out, so the quick move tab I had removed from the Maple Guide went straight back in..

Even when I cannot get around to the other daily bosses, I make sure to run Arkarium and Pink Bean every day, though neither has given me a useful equipment drop yet. I figure something will turn up at least once before the time is up.

I have not had any good drops from Kai yet, either.

I had also been buying all the available barrier control rods each week for the Mysterious Barrier, and what I was waiting for finally appeared this week, which is a weight off my mind. Last season, it only appeared at the very end, but the appearance rate is higher this time and there are 10 more control rods on sale than before, so I suspect that helped.

I have reached my original goal of Diamond tier, and while it would be nice to make it to Master tier by the end, I am not getting my hopes up. Still, I plan to keep logging in and do what I can with the time left.

The new Sunny Sunday Maple event announced earlier takes place tomorrow, and I intend to take part. Staying logged in for 3 hours will earn you a total of 1 Sol Erda and 100 Sol Erda Fragments, so I would recommend joining in if you can.

A follow-up notice clarified that event progress is shared within your Maple ID, with the deadlines for claiming and using rewards shown below, so be sure to check those carefully rather than miss the chance to claim or use anything.

Remaining major events: [Challenger Pass]: Until 2/11

First up, the Challenger Pass ends on February 11.

Since this event was there from the start, many of you will probably have finished it and claimed all the rewards already, but if it slipped your mind, make sure to finish what remains.

The reward items matter, of course, but the Premium Pass effects are a particularly important part of this event, so it is worth noting that in last summer's Challenger World, a new pass went on sale after the Challenger Pass ended.

Sold as the [Frontier Pass], it worked the same way as the Challenger Pass and offered a similar selection of rewards, though its Premium Pass cost 49800 Maple Points, so if it returns in the same form, it should be available for 49800 Nexon Cash. We will be able to check the details in the next Test World update.

Remaining major events: [Burning Express]: Until 2/11

Burning Express also ends on February 11, and any Express Boosters earned through the event must be used by February 12 at 2:00 a.m., so make sure to use them before that deadline.

An earlier livestream mentioned that this event had been brought forward from its usual slot in the latter half of the winter event, so we are unlikely to see a similar one later on.

Remaining major events: [Tallahart Fantasia]: Until 3/18

The [Tallahart Fantasia] event runs for 13 weeks in total, until 3/18, and we are already in week 6, with page 1/2 nearly filled. There are 12 rows of rewards altogether, leaving 1 week of breathing room out of those 13 weeks.

The remaining weekly rewards are shown here, with the following totals excluding this week's rewards.

• Karma Black Rebirth Flames: 200

• Experience Nodestones: 100

• Special Medals of Honor: 50

The EXP-related rewards, including the growth potions, should be a considerable help with the Challenger World missions.

With 30 check-ins left, the remaining attendance rewards add up to the totals below, and it is also worth remembering that the [Illusion Magic] stat buffs stay active for 1 more week after the event ends, lasting until 3/25.

Here is a look at the cosmetics among the remaining attendance rewards. There is no official preview image available for the final cosmetic reward, the Illusory Tallahart Character Selection Screen Theme, but judging by the quality of the selection screen themes so far, I imagine this one will look quite lovely as well.

Remaining major events: [엘라노스 Chronicle]: Until 3/18

The [엘라노스 Chronicle] event also runs for 13 weeks in total, until 3/18, and allows up to 60 investigations over that period, putting us exactly halfway through, just like the attendance event, with 1 week of breathing room. If you have completed this week's investigations, you have 30 left, meaning you can still earn a total of 24000 Illusion Coins.

You can keep upgrading 엘라노스 as you have been, with the EXP effect reaching stage 6 and the attack range increase reaching stage 3.

All the remaining Ancient Power effects are worth picking up as soon as Thursday arrives, before you start working through content, so keep that routine in mind through to the end.

Remaining major events: [Memories of Illusion]: Until 3/18

The weekly boss coin event also runs until 3/18, but unlike the two events above, it lets you participate through the final week, leaving 7 full weeks to earn coins, so multiply your weekly earnings by 7 to work out how many coins you can still earn.

The weekly boss coin shop also stays open through the final week, with its stock replenished that week as well.

Remaining major events: [Winter Preparation Missions]: Until 3/18

The Winter Preparation Missions also run until 3/18, so make sure to complete the Step Up missions and claim all their rewards before the event ends.

The weekly missions remain available through the final week as well, leaving 7 weeks to go and the following rewards still to earn.

• 3x EXP Coupons (30 minutes): 14

• VIP Boosters: 70

• VIP Sauna Passes: 14 (7 hours)

This [VIP Sauna] is available until June 17, which gives us a fairly generous window, so once you have added the time, you just need to use it all before then.

Remaining major events: [Challenger World]: Until 4/15

This Challenger World runs for 4 months, which is 1 month shorter than before, or 17 weeks in total, leaving 11 weeks as of next week. Whatever your goal, you will need to reach it within those 11 weeks.

For hunting mission coins, completing the missions without missing a day for 7 weeks will earn you a total of 10500.

The seasonal boss Kai is also available until April 15, giving you 11 more chances to defeat him.

The world itself stays open until maintenance on 4/16, but you can only complete missions and enter Kai's encounter until April 15 at 23:59. After maintenance, characters will move to a dedicated World Leap map, and the end-of-season World Leap will begin.

The next anniversary event is scheduled to begin as soon as the [Night of Falling Illusions] event ends, so it looks as though we will be able to play through the early part of it in Challenger World. With its larger scale compared with previous coin shop events, I hope it will give us even more help with progression in Challenger World.
