On January 22, DNF Mobile launched the Next Highway event alongside its new Male Mage character update.

In DNF Mobile, Highway is a burning or level-jump event.

​

That means you can start your Male Mage at level 80 with a full gear setup.

Starting now, you can reach the level cap (85), finish your setup, and access most of the content within a week at most.

​

Here is a step-by-step walkthrough.

Getting Started with Next Highway

+15 weapon

DNF Mobile's Next Highway lets you designate one character at levels 1–80, with the main rewards listed above.

Save the Epic Equipment Selection Box until you have collected 4 pieces of an armor set, then use it to claim the final piece and complete the set.

After creating a character, claim and use the Next Highway Designation Ticket to reach level 80.

​

This time, your class selection is permanent, so choose carefully.

Next, work through the Growth Missions in order.

​

Simply use the shortcut button and try each activity once.

Then open “Achievements” and “Adventure Rewards” from the Adventure menu at the bottom of the screen and claim all available rewards.

Open the “Adventure Compendium” right beside it and claim the “Bond Compendium” rewards as well.

​

Depending on your progress in the game, you may not have any rewards to claim here.

Transfer the +7 enhancement from your Rare armor to Unique armor

Equip all the Emblems you received, and

release all the Magic Seals on your equipment as well.

​

For now, you only need to convert a Magic Seal once to complete the mission.

Apply the enchantment beads you received to your level 70 equipment (the +15 weapon and the remaining +7 pieces).

​

Glacial Master's skills have an innate element, so I used a Magic Attack bead on the weapon here.

​

You will only be using this gear briefly, so there is no need to fine-tune everything.

Keep the gear you have equipped and disassemble the remaining +7 Rare equipment to obtain Ryan Cokes.

​

Sell +0 Rare and Unique equipment for Gold, and disassemble any level 70 equipment that cannot be sold.

Open the Training Journal from the menu.

Unlock the Mana Condenser, Seal of the Holy Eye, Identity Tag, and Breakthrough.

​

Expect to spend quite a bit of Gold on Breakthrough.

Strength and Intelligence are reliable choices for the Seal of the Holy Eye options, but you can change them freely at any time.

Now open the tab for your class in the Rankings.

Review your gear by comparing it with the equipment worn by top-ranked players of your class.

​

Since Male Mage has only just launched, setups may vary, so check several players' builds.

​

Another thing to check here is Rune Engraving.

The basic setup is Protection 2, Wisdom 2, and Distortion 1

When using the Brilliant Skill Rune Selection Box you received as a reward, check which runes top-ranked players use and choose accordingly.

​

Keep in mind that the right choices may differ depending on how much you plan to invest in the character and whether you intend to use it as a farming alt.

For the 5th Rune Engraving slot, you receive the materials needed to engrave Battle Preparation 3.

​

Use those materials to engrave it for now, then claim the mission completion reward.

​

Later, you can replace it with King's Stature, a Breath matching your element, Master of Status Effects, or a similar option.

Guilds and Friends

Join a guild before spending any Fatigue.

​

Any guild will do.

​

Save the Contribution Coins you earn whenever you spend Fatigue and use them to buy Catalysts.

Next, add at least 40 friends.

​

Use a Heartbeat Megaphone to post in world chat that you are looking for friends to exchange Friendship Points with, or send friend requests to players looking for the same.

​

Save up Friendship Points to buy Catalyst Fragments, Warlord's Cry Potions, Gold, and other items.

Running Dungeons

By this point, your Exorcism should be around 70,000–80,000.

​

You are now ready to run farming dungeons or Hell Party (Hellspire).

Balance your runs based on how many Invitations you have and your progress in the Learning Missions.

​

As long as you have enough Invitations, the ideal approach is to run a farming dungeon once for the daily mission, then use all your remaining runs on Hell Party.

I recommend 루크 린제, which frequently drops pieces of the Giant set

If you have time to spare, run farming dungeons on the highest difficulty; if you want to finish quickly, choose Normal.

Weekly dungeon entries reset on Thursday, so raise your Exorcism as much as possible by Wednesday, then run the highest-tier weekly dungeon available to you.

When you run out of Fatigue, use the Liberated Secret Operation Invitations you received from Adventure Rewards.

You can find Secret Operations in the Adventure menu at the bottom of the screen

Run Imperial Laboratory 4 to farm Ryan Cokes, and enhance your armor, accessories, and special equipment to +12.

After that, you can enhance that gear further or use the Catalysts you have collected to attempt to enhance your weapon to +16.
