Hey, adventurers~!

Having fun and making the most of life in Erinn?

Today, I’m checking my fortune with the ‘Fortune Cookie’ you can find by searching on Naver,

then letting that fortune decide how I play!

How’s this going to turn out?

I’ll let you adventurers in on what happened!

I cracked open my first cookie🥠

Here’s what my fortune said:

“Your lot in life is yours to decide.

If you want to change what you have, you must first take action.”

Yep, that’s what was on the slip!

Change what I have…?

Wait a minute! Could it be talking about enhancing my weapon?!

As soon as I read that fortune, I thought of my weapon—it’s been stuck at +16 for months!

Maybe this is a sign that I should give enhancement another shot!

As luck would have it, I’ve saved up over 100 enhancement reignition catalysts from events,

and I’ve got plenty of rune fragments too, so let’s head straight to the blacksmith!

The blacksmith I’m trusting with my weapon today is none other than Edern!

He can perform transcendent engraving and has trained plenty of apprentices—a true master among blacksmiths~

This fortune cookie feels like it’s onto something, I’ve got plenty of materials,

and with a master blacksmith’s skills thrown into the mix…?!

Getting my weapon to +17 might be more than just a dream👍

All right, time to take a deep breath and give this enhancement a shot~

Hmm…

That first attempt was a bust…

I even threw in a catalyst for two enhancement tries in a row, but all I got was a 1+1 special on failures!

But you can’t expect success right out of the gate!

I’ve still got enough materials for a few more attempts, so let’s keep at it!

Let’s go~!

Second attempt… failed!

You know how they say “third time’s the charm”?

You’ve got to give things three tries!

Let’s try again!!!

…Well, succeeding on the third try like a perfectly scripted story would be way too predictable!

Here we go, fourth and final attempt!!!

Whyyy-!!!😭😭😭

I had such a good feeling!!! The fortune sounded so promising!!!

What’s the meaning of this, fortune cookie-!!!

I put all my faith in you! How could you put me through this?!!!

So, of course, I immediately opened another fortune cookie…

Sigh…

“Some days are happy, and others are hard.

It’s okay. This too shall pass.”

Oh, so saying “it’s okay” makes everything better?

What about my expectations? My hopes?!

My soul, my gold… I’ve been completely cleaned out…!

I can’t even buy cooking ingredients or repair my weapons and tools,

I can’t do anything!

Adventurers, make sure you plan ahead before you start enhancing😢

Lesson learned: a good fortune from a cookie is no reason to go charging in!

What fortune will your cookie have for you, adventurers?

Open one up and see how you can work it into your gameplay for a little fun~

See you next time!

Bye~🖐🖐🖐
