Lately, I'd been thinking about leveling a fifth character.

I didn't have any healer characters,

and I needed to work on the All-Rounder achievements too, so another alt had been on my mind.

Still, I wasn't sure whether leveling five characters might be a bit much.

But when my fortune said it was a good day to start something new, the idea became just a little more tempting.

Hard work won't let you down. I believe in you and your dedication. I'm rooting for you.

The thought that hard work would pay off gave me the encouragement I needed!

I decided to go ahead and level an alt, even if it meant being a little busier +_+

Time to Start Leveling My Alt!

If you already have a main character, your alt can start at level 23.

I plan to play as a healer eventually,

but I switched to Dark Mage first to pick up its class-change achievement!

You can skip more quests than before, which made progression pretty smooth.

I was definitely short on silver coins early on.

It made me wish I'd created the character a little sooner.

I've been short on Transcendent Engraving materials lately, but an alt can gather them and move them into storage,

so if you've been thinking about leveling one, this could be a good time to give it a try.

A Goal Achieved?

As it happens, I reached fishing level 25 today!

I'd been sitting at level 20 for almost half a year..!

This time, I committed to it and kept my character fishing whenever I had time.

Finally reaching level 25 felt pretty satisfying.

I can now visit a new fishing spot,

and I can make my own spicy sea bass stew. ^-^v

Until now, I'd always bought it with Deca at the marketplace!

I seemed to make especially good progress toward my goals today.

I guess things really did line up with my fortune!
