Today, I am back once again with a MapleLand quest guide. This time, we will be covering Zoo Keeper Kenta's quest in Aquarium. More specifically, this guide will walk through the Monster Riding quest, which is directly tied to monster riding.

Zoo Keeper Kenta

Kenta seems to be in some trouble at the moment. As soon as she sees the player, she asks for help.

She explains that she is researching ways for monsters and humans to coexist, and that her goal is to prove they can live alongside humans if their aggression is removed.

However, since people do not start liking monsters simply by watching them, she says she began a new line of research.

That research has now reached its final stage, and once it is completed, it will open the way to travel by riding monsters. The problem is that someone is trying to steal the research.

The objective of this quest is to protect the wild boars from those attacking them. She asks you to bring back 5 Pheromones, along with 5 Research Reports.

How to Go Protect the Wild Boars

To head out and protect the wild boars, simply speak to Kenta and select "I will head out to protect the wild boars."

How to Get Pheromones

First, here is how to get Pheromones. You can obtain them while protecting the wild boars from Barnard Gray, and you will need a total of 5.

The Pheromone looks like a pink heart, as shown here. Once you pick up 5, the first objective is complete.

How to Get the Research Report

The next objective is collecting the Research Report. In Kenta's breeding room, you will see treasure chests. These can be broken with normal attacks, and the Research Report drops from them. To collect all 5, you will need to break 5 treasure chests.

Once you have collected 5 Pheromones and 5 Research Reports, head back outside and speak to Kenta again.

Reward

After seeing that the player protected the wild boars and also brought back the Pheromones and Research Reports, Kenta is deeply grateful.

Kenta says the player who helped is more than worthy of this skill, and gives a saddle as well. The reward is 1 Saddle, the Monster Riding skill, and 32,000 EXP.

Kenta finishes by saying that once the pheromone research is complete, you should come back if you plan to use monsters as a means of transportation. With that, the Monster Riding quest comes to an end.

Today, we went over Kenta's Monster Riding quest. There is also another quest for the next step, so I plan to cover that one as well. I have heard the next one requires a lot of money, so it would be best to prepare some extra funds before going.
