DNF Mobile Farming Eased Up! Let’s Briefly Go Over the January Developer Note Details
네오필
Dungeon&Fighter Mobile has released a developer note covering the January 22 update.
Good news—January 22 will add a new character and dungeon, along with several welcome quality-of-life improvements.
Let’s briefly organize the details.
Male Mage

Following the previous live broadcast, more detailed information on Male Mage has now been revealed.
First, Glacial Master has been reworked to lower the difficulty while keeping its signature intuitive, explosive combo feel intact.
As part of that, Ice Craft has been changed into a new passive skill, Hailstorm.
Craft-type skills → charge Hailstorm stacks → Burst-type skills → detonate Hailstorm stacks
That is now the class’s core mechanic.
Skills such as Pierce of Ice and Blizzard Storm have also had their hit detection improved.

Swift Master had a high skill-cancel and combo execution burden in the original game. If you missed the cancel timing, the skill would simply vanish, so the risk of DPS loss was significant.
With that in mind, DNF Mobile developed Swift Master with the goal of preserving the class’s core appeal while pushing its mobility and speed even further.
Its combat flow revolves around pulling enemies in, bursting them down, and then chasing again, with 'Sonic Move' serving as the centerpiece.
Sonic Move is a passive skill that combines movement and skill canceling into one, and even when you cancel, the wind left behind by the skill stays in place and continues attacking. The range of cancelable skills has also been expanded significantly, and a Sonic Move charge effect has been added when certain skills hit, lowering the overall difficulty.
Like Sonic Move, the movement/tracking skill Blade Wind can also be learned at a relatively low level, so players can experience that high mobility even through the early-to-mid leveling range.
New Elite and Weekly Dungeons

A new elite dungeon, Cavern of Extinction, is being added.
The Adventurer Fame requirements are 126,500 for Normal, 152,000 for Expert, and 169,500 for Master, and the setting has players fighting Laraa, who is gathering energy to resurrect Sirocco.
As with previous elite dungeons, there are two bosses.
The first named boss is Ashen Rozenberg. He is a berserker who uses a massive hammer, and when his bloodlust reaches its maximum, a special pattern triggers.
The second named boss is Myriad Laraa. In the live broadcast, the pattern where she blooms flowers and detonates them felt a lot like Venus, and that seems to be because she uses part of Sirocco’s power.
Rewards vary by difficulty.
Normal and Expert guarantee 1 Epic-to-Exceed equipment piece, while Master guarantees 2 Epic-to-Exceed equipment pieces.
Various currencies also drop, including Zelva Hell Party Invitations, Abyss Embers, Data Chips, Material Selection Pouches, and Polishing Stones, with the quantities and Adventure Group binding differing by difficulty.

Another key reward is the Intangible Orb. It is a crafting material used for Conversion Scrolls and Conversion Stones.
Conversion Scrolls can change the prefix on light-imbued Epic equipment, while Conversion Stones are used to change weapon skill options.
The original plan was to add new craftable gear as a reward, but since farming prefixes on existing gear apparently was not progressing as well as expected, it looks like the direction shifted toward supporting that instead.

A new weekly dungeon, King’s Archive, has been added.
The Adventurer Fame requirement is 160,000, and the reward multiplier is 27x.
That is only slightly above Stairway of Mourning (25x), but now that you can run both Stairway of Mourning and King’s Archive, the chances of getting good drops have gone up even further.
Convenience Improvements

A Hell Party consecutive clear system has been added.
You can now enter up to 5 times at once (consuming 20 Fatigue), which means Hell farming can be finished in just five dungeon runs.
The tradeoff is that you need to use 10% more Invitations (540 Invitations for 100 Fatigue), but as a time-saving cost, it does not look too bad.
Invasions also appear at the same rate, and while the odds are probably low, if you get more than one invasion, it is even possible to walk away with 2 Exceeds.

On top of that, a Quick Match button has been added to the dungeon entry screen, and Inheritance has been improved so enchant items no longer disappear.
Also, on February 26, light-imbued Epic equipment will become eligible for transcendence, so it may be worth saving your February transcendence count instead of using it now.
Wrapping Up
That wraps up the main points from the Dungeon&Fighter Mobile developer note. After next week’s Dunday, farming should be even more enjoyable.
