The MapleStory content I’ve been enjoying lately #순겜시간
마빡도로시
Hello
The theme of this post, I think, is simply looking back on the content I spent the most truly enjoyable playtime on
In my case, I vividly remember spending a great deal of time on The Seed quite a long while ago, and since the reason I started MapleStory in the first place was to clear The Seed at least once, it remains a piece of content with a lot of meaning for me
If I add up the time it took to meet the achievement condition of reaching Floor 50 five hundred times, along with the practice time for clearing Floor 48 and all the time lost to failed attempts, it comes out to around 500 hours+@, and when I think about it now, I honestly wonder how I ever managed it
The Orange Ancient Beetle at the end simply refused to register, so I actually completed that later than the Dorothy 500-times achievement above, and that part in particular remains in my memory as a really difficult stretch. Even in the test world I had gone to for Floor 48 practice, it had registered much earlier..
Because of that, even if I could go back to that time, I do not think I would have the confidence to do it all over again in exactly the same way, but now that it has settled into memory, I feel it has ultimately remained a good one for me
Below, I want to talk a little about some of the things I have enjoyed more recently
Saitama Special World
The November 2025 update that arrived as part of the [One Punch Man X MapleStory] collaboration was handled very differently from previous collaborations, as it came with virtually no advance notice at all
At the time, perhaps because the third season of the One Punch Man anime had been met with somewhat disappointing reactions, I remember the player response being fairly lukewarm, but personally I have always found it to be a very appealing manga, so I was glad to see it. Saitama as a protagonist had especially stayed with me
As the main event, the <Special World> where you could raise Saitama felt like an upgraded version of the earlier <Yeti X Pink Bean World>, and as was also mentioned on Maple Now, what I liked was that it delivered an experience that fit Saitama's concept well, letting you sweep away four times as many monsters at once as before
A sight I am not sure we will ever see again
The skill names, the concepts, and even lines like these were all handled quite well too, with details from the original work reflected in a fitting way
That said, in the case of the much-criticized <Virtual Battle System>, I was fortunately able to get the furniture, but it was still a little disappointing that I could not claim the final reward
It was also unfortunate that internet issues threw off my plans for the final week and kept me from getting the Finish Attack, but I am still very satisfied that I managed to collect every Maple Home theme and all of the furniture available from the event

After the 1/15(Thu) update, Finish Attack-type items and effect items will be improved so they can be equipped at the same time
<Challengers World> Season 3
And the thing I have been enjoying most recently is this <Challengers World>. Ever since the showcase, I liked the concept of the boss and found myself thinking I would really like to try it one day, and that boss turned out to be Kai, who appeared as the season boss
At first, since we were told that even Normal difficulty had been set above Hard Verus Hilla, I thought I would take my time progressing and try to clear it later on, but with issues like the painful Arcane River grinding that caused so much noise early in the season, I nearly let it go entirely
But the emergency distribution of Extreme Growth Potions brought it back to life for me, and after steadily sticking with it from there, I ended up defeating Kai, which had been my personal goal, and even reached Diamond

This gift can be claimed until 1/14 23:59
In Kai's case, I was especially grateful that Normal was released with fairly straightforward patterns, because it gave me a sense of confidence
One of the changes from last season was that attendance points were replaced with level-based points, and this meshed with boss points in a surprisingly delicate way, so there were cases where defeating a certain boss at a certain level would raise your rank, and other cases where the opposite happened, which made me spend more and play more than I had planned
For next season, I feel that if things like improvements to the early growth route are considered, it could receive a fairly good response right from the start
Lastly, as mentioned earlier on Maple Now, a new Sunday Maple has been revealed, and since participating gives quite worthwhile rewards, I would definitely recommend joining in if you can

New Sunday Maple scheduled to take place afterward
