Pure game time?

You know how people say “pure study time” for the actual time spent studying?

So as someone who only gets in about 1–2 hours of pure game time a day, let me tell you about my 60 hours with ARC Raiders.

ARC Raiders playtime

I’ve been busy lately, so I haven’t been able to play that much,

but I’ve still already gone over 60 hours.

And somehow, in my Steam library,

it’s already made it up to 5th place.

Let me share a few of the moments in ARC Raiders that really stuck with me.

Faith in humanity restored

This was when I tried soloing Bombardier for the first time.

It was the day I was practicing using the Electromagnetic Field Cloak to get close to Bombardier and try to send it in one shot with Deadline.

I popped the cloak and snuck in as carefully as I could,

and somehow managed to place Deadline,

then got stunned the moment Deadline blew up..

It was my first time ever taking down Bombardier, so I didn’t hit surrender right away and was just sitting there regretting it,

when out of nowhere a Raider came sprinting over

Such a tense moment..

They revive me..!!

And then I took the subway and escaped too—absolute success!!

Survivor is god-tier!

Out of all the augments, Loot Mark III (Survivor)

is the one that heals you if you stay still, even while you’re downed.

In Buried City, I got focused hard by the ARCs

and got knocked out, and right when I was thinking I should just surrender and queue the next game..

I remembered I had Survivor equipped.

Thinking maybe I actually had a shot at living,

I desperately crawled toward the subway.

Stopping to rest every so often,

and praying I wouldn’t run into another Raider..

Crawl a bit, stop a bit, crawl a bit, stop a bit..

Now let’s see how it turned out.

I crawled for a whole 7 minutes..

and actually made it out..!!
