How to Get to Crimsonwood's Phantom Forest

First, click on Bell in the Kerning City subway to buy a ticket, then head to New Leaf City.

Once you arrive, click on the NLC Taxi at the far left of New Leaf City.

The NLC Taxi offers to take you deep into the wilderness of Phantom Forest. Select Yes to travel straight to the mansion.

Phantom Forest

You've arrived in Phantom Forest! The first thing you'll see is the Haunted House, where the previous Halloween event took place. You can't enter the house yet, but you can explore the paths to the left and right.

Entering Phantom Forest feels like leaving a cheerful fairy tale behind and stepping into a much darker one. It reminds me of what a dark retelling of Hansel and Gretel might look like. The gloomy surroundings and unfamiliar, maze-like layout really define the map's atmosphere.

How to Get to Crimsonwood Mountain

The route to Crimsonwood Mountain is complicated and difficult to follow, but I'll walk you through it step by step. First, enter the passage at the far left of the Haunted House.

You'll start on the right side of the swamp. Head all the way left and take the leftmost portal.

You'll arrive at Crossroads. Take the second portal at Crossroads.

Next, you'll reach Twisted Paths. Take the portal at the far left.

You'll emerge at the far left of Phantom Road. Look for the portal near the top center and go through it.

You'll find yourself at Crossroads again. Don't worry about being back in the same area—head all the way right and take the rightmost portal.

Back at Twisted Paths, take the fourth portal, then the second portal.

You'll then appear at the top of Crossroads. You'll have come out of the second portal at the top, so take the first portal.

You're almost there! Next is Forgotten Path. Follow the winding route all the way to the right, then back to the left until you see a portal. Go through it to reach your destination.

You've now reached the Valley of Heroes on Crimsonwood Mountain, but another challenging path lies ahead.

Wrapping Up

That wraps up our look at Phantom Forest. Alongside weaker monsters like Jr. Wraiths, you'll find plenty of powerful ones, including Elderwraiths and Firebrands. Be careful—a mistake could get you killed and cost you EXP. A big thank-you to 연백 for showing me how to navigate these maps. If you're still having trouble following the route, refer to 연백's post.

That's all from 게임하늘. Thanks for reading!
