Mabinogi Mobile's relaxed approach

makes it easy to enjoy without much pressure.

However, when players overlook basic gaming etiquette,

it can make things difficult for everyone.

Today, I've put together some etiquette guidelines

to keep in mind while playing Mabinogi Mobile.

Having assist doesn't mean

you should rely entirely on auto play

Mabinogi Mobile has an assist feature.

It uses skills automatically, which makes it a convenient option.

However, in dungeons that are challenging

relative to your combat power, you shouldn't rely on assist.

Assist certainly has its uses.

Classes with simple rotations, such as Ice Mage and Greatsword Warrior,

can perform reasonably well with assist alone.

If you play on mobile and need assist,

I recommend enabling class-specific assist.

Depending on your class, excluding certain skills from assist

can also help optimize your rotation.

However, some dungeons have mechanics that put pressure

on the entire party if you don't fulfill your role.

The Tabartas Raid and Contaminated Disposal Site Abyss are prime examples.

I've linked guides for both, so you can review their mechanics before entering.

You can still move while assist is enabled,

so practice handling at least the basic mechanics.

Even in a relaxed game, this is still endgame content.

Even in Chance Encounter,

make sure you do your part

Mabinogi Mobile's Chance Encounter

is a convenient mode that matches you with players across all servers.

I often use it to run easy dungeons on my alternate characters.

However, because it's widely seen as a low-pressure mode,

some players leave auto play on from start to finish.

That's fine for previous-season raids like Glas Ghaibhleann,

but not for Very Hard Abyss or Tabartas.

It leaves your party members carrying far too much of the load.

For some classes, using auto play makes a substantial difference in damage output.

As covered earlier, you may also need to handle mechanics,

and revives are limited, so you need to keep an eye on the battle.

Saying thanks is optional,

but insults and abuse are never acceptable

After successfully clearing content together,

or when someone shares food, saying thank you is a matter of basic online etiquette.

(Of course, not saying it doesn't mean you're being rude.)

Clicking the chat brings up shortcuts for phrases like “Good work, everyone” and “Thanks,”

making it easy to send a quick message.

However, you should never insult or verbally attack someone

because they failed a mechanic or are using assist.

Anyone can make a mistake, and not every misstep is intentional.

Unless someone is going well out of their way to troll, try to be understanding and let it go.
