This is Nexon Picker FISTIME.

Have you ever heard the word mingling?

It comes from “mingle,” meaning to mix and get along,

and refers to spending time with other people

and connecting in a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere.

And Mabinogi Mobile, one of the games I play most often,

is exactly the kind of title that represents mingling at its best.

So today, I’m sharing some mingling moments from Mabinogi!

Our meeting...

was pure chance!

Ever since its early launch days, Mabinogi Mobile

has had a feature called Chance Encounter.

It randomly matches you with players from every server,

so you can enjoy all kinds of content together, from combat to minigames.

There’s something especially fun about teaming up with total strangers

and working your way through everything from simple mobs

to powerful boss fights together.

Compared to a standard matchmaking system,

it comes with much less of that formal party pressure,

which makes it a great feature for enjoying the game more casually.

Of course, regular party recruitment is active too.

Players will often set up a party and leave matchmaking on,

or recruit party members through area chat.

And parties formed that way often end up sharing food,

or just chatting away while they play.

I’ve even met people who really do spend all day “mingling” in the chat window.

A space for open connection and conversation

Guilds and My Home!

I play as the guild leader

of a guild called Time on the Duncan server.

It’s a completely unrestricted free guild

with no Discord or group chat to manage,

so it’s not exactly loud or bustling,

but I still get to chat and connect with guild members from time to time.

(Anyone looking for a free guild is welcome to join!)

On December 23, just before Christmas,

we held a housewarming party at a guild member’s My Home.

We started with small talk about the game,

then drifted into all sorts of other conversations,

and before we knew it, an hour had flown by!

My Home can be set so anyone can enter,

and out of nowhere, a man dressed in red showed up

and started insisting that it was his house.

And his reason was...

“I’m not wearing shoes, so this must be my house,” he said...

It was actually a joke—his stomach hurt, and he’d come looking for the bathroom.

Unfortunately, the ability to open and close doors still hasn’t been implemented,

so the story goes that he handled his business with the door open, then left.

My Home really feels like content

that’s perfectly suited for healing and mingling.

I’d love to see even more furniture and features added in the future.

A guestbook update, especially, feels like a must!

So today, I’ve shared some of the mingling moments

you can enjoy in Mabinogi Mobile.

Combat is fun too, of course, but if you’re looking for

a game where you can also enjoy those little everyday conversations, I’d definitely recommend it.
