With the start of the Year of the Fire Horse on January 1, 2026, DNF Mobile has kicked off a new event.

Most notably, a new avatar set themed around the Knights of the Round Table has arrived, giving 룩덕러 plenty to enjoy.

So let’s take a light look through what’s been added.

Knights of the Round Table Avatar

The Knights of the Round Table avatar set will be available until 6 a.m. on March 26, and it’s what players usually call a 주또주 package (give and give again).

​

Buying 9 of them gives extra rewards, including a best-in-slot creature box, so most mid-to-heavy spenders tend to pick this up. This time, it also comes with an additional transcendence count ticket, so plenty of players will probably go for it.

The avatars are designed around the Knights of the Round Table from Arthurian legend. This set originally appeared in PC DNF in 2018, and since DNF Mobile has the original Warrior class, there’s some extra fun in checking this version out.

With that in mind, let’s go over which figure each character appears to be based on.

First, the Male Slayer is King Arthur. He’s the legendary king who united Britain, and for some people the name Saber may sound more familiar. In the original legend as well, he’s the central figure who wields Excalibur and leads the Knights of the Round Table.

The Female Slayer is Guinevere. She is King Arthur’s queen, but also a tragic figure whose forbidden love with Lancelot helps set the kingdom’s downfall in motion. For reference, in PC DNF, Lancelot was the Male Fighter.

The Fighter is Gawain. He was Arthur’s nephew and a highly renowned knight, but also someone drawn into tragedy by anger and pride.

Gawain is male, but this one was released as a Female Fighter avatar. That kind of casting shows up often enough in secondary works, so it doesn’t feel too strange.

The Male Gunner is Tristan. He’s a tragic knight famous for his love with Isolde, and a figure who is constantly torn between love and duty.

The Female Gunner is Lohengrin. Famous as the Swan Knight who comes to the aid of those in danger, this is a figure fated to leave in order to keep that true identity from being revealed.

The Female Mage is Viviane. Known as the Lady of the Lake, she’s a mysterious fairy (or witch) who hands over Excalibur and is deeply tied to the wizard Merlin. For reference, the Male Mage scheduled for release in January is Merlin.

The Male Priest is Bedivere. He’s one of Arthur’s most loyal knights, the one who stays by the king’s side to the very end and returns Excalibur to the lake.

The Female Priest is Kay. Kay is male, but here he was turned into a Female Priest avatar. He is Arthur’s foster brother and one of the Knights of the Round Table, serving as a practical administrator who complains plenty but never abandons the court.

The Warrior is Mordred. Mordred is also male, but was released here as a Female Warrior avatar. He is the traitor knight portrayed as Arthur’s nephew or son, and the figure who faces Arthur in the final battle.

The Thief is Morgana. She is Arthur’s half-sister, a fairy (or witch) who wields powerful magic, and a character portrayed at times as an enemy and at times as family bound up in love and resentment.

The Lancer is Percival. He’s a knight who pursues the Holy Grail with a pure heart, clumsy in worldly matters but ultimately the one who comes closest to uncovering the Grail’s secret.

This one is just the hat

The Male Mage is Uther Pendragon. It was shown off in advance as a hidden rare avatar rather than a standard one.

Uther Pendragon is King Arthur’s father, a legendary king who defended Britain from Saxon invasions. He’s so tiny that the idea of him being the Male Slayer’s dad(?) is kind of amusing.

That brings the total to 12 newly added avatars.

Each avatar comes in four color options, and personally, I like the black version best.

​

Personally, I think the Thief avatar turned out especially well, with a much more glamorous feel than usual, and overall I like that the whole lineup leans into an armored style.

This may not have even been in PC DNF

The creatures released this time are Knight Sebastian (for dealers), Mage Sophia (for synergy), and Dragon Tamer Sophia (best-in-slot). They are not characters from the Knights of the Round Table.

Other Events

Beyond that, DNF Mobile is also giving out the Red Horse’s Gift to players who log in before 6 a.m. on January 22.

It even comes with a cutscene of the red horse charging in, so it definitely feels like some real effort went into it. It was also nice to see Mintai again after a while.

The Knights of the Round Table event has also begun. Complete the missions given by the 12 knights to earn growth material rewards, and if you gain recognition from all of them, you’ll receive a Knights of the Round Table skin box.

It includes an Adventurer Group tag, background, and character background.

The Please Take Care of the Christmas Tree event, which began on December 18, gives buffs as the tree evolves according to the total number of dungeon clears across the server.

With the final target of 30 million clears reached, the stage 3 buff has now been activated as well.

So until 6 a.m. on January 8, gold costs are reduced by 10% when reinforcing equipment up to +15, and since that also includes the jump from +15 to +16, I imagine a lot of players took the chance to push for a +16 piece. I burned through everything I had saved up as well and managed to make one +16 armor piece.
