[MapleStory] Let’s play #끝말잇기 using MapleStory words!

Hello,

I’m Jaymer, a Nexon Picker 😊

45_0

MapleStory is celebrating its 23rd anniversary this year, and it really has a ton of content and systems.

So today, I tried a round of #끝말잇기 using only words that appear in Maple.

The first word is, of course, “MapleStory”!

If you’re curious what comes next, give this a quick read whenever you’re bored 😆

1. MapleStory

45_1

MapleStory is a 2D side-scrolling MMORPG that just about everyone in Korea knows.

Recently, the job “Kinesis” received a remaster, and

“Hyper Burning,” which gives 1+4 level-ups up to Lv. 260,

alongside the “Burning Beyond” event, which gives 1+1 level-ups up to Lv. 270, also opened at the same time.

On top of that, “Challengers World” launched with lots of great benefits too, so it’s a really good time for new and returning users to jump in!

45_2

At first, the huge number of jobs can make it tough to choose.

But no matter which character you raise, they can still be useful through the Union system,

so you can get started without too much pressure!

2. Lith Harbor

45_3

Lith Harbor is the first town you arrive at after the tutorial if you choose the Adventurer job line.

With its blue sea and calm BGM, I’m sure a lot of people still remember it.

Back in the day, this was where you learned the basics of the game one by one through the NPCs.

Maybe because it’s the starting point of the adventure, it still feels nice to come back to even now!

3. Cloud Park

45_4

If you leave Victoria Island by ship, you’ll arrive at Orbis.

And among its maps, Cloud Park is one of the first places that comes to mind when people think of Orbis.

It’s a sky garden where Pixies live, and it gets mentioned a lot as a nostalgic hunting map.

Even now, people still stop by for a bit around the level 60–70 range!

4. Wonder Berry

45_5

Wonder Berry refers to “Wisp’s Wonder Berry” sold in the Cash Shop.

It’s one of the main ways to get “Pets,” which make hunting in Maple much more convenient.

The Wonder Black Pets you get here can also be used with the “Luna Crystal Key” to try fusing for a Vac Pet.

Vac Pets automatically pull in nearby items, which seriously boosts your hunting quality of life!

5. Leafre

45_6

If you travel by ship from Orbis, you’ll arrive in Minar Forest.

Leafre, located in Minar Forest, is a town you naturally start visiting once you enter the level 100 range.

From this point on, Star Force hunting maps start to appear, so leveling gets faster!

6. Resistance

45_7

Resistance is one of Maple’s major job groups, based in Edelstein.

It includes lots of distinctive jobs like Mechanic, Blaster, Wild Hunter, and Battle Mage.

I still remember how much fun it was when Resistance first came out.

The idea that characters who looked like ordinary NPCs were actually job instructors was pretty memorable too.

7. Star Force

45_8

Star Force is the star of Maple equipment enhancement, and a system packed with all the joys and sorrows players go through!

When you enhance gear, yellow stars appear at the top of the equipment and its stats increase.

On some hunting maps, if your Star Force is too low, you’ll deal almost no damage to monsters.

That said, these days players usually progress starting from Arcane Force hunting maps, so Star Force hunting maps aren’t nearly as important as they used to be.

8. Suu

45_9

Suu is the final boss of Maple’s “Black Heaven” storyline.

These days, lots of users take him down regularly for weekly boss income.

Thanks to the Item Burning system, Normal Suu is also a fairly manageable challenge now!

9. Woodon Lef

45_10

The Lef are one of the races at the center of the Grandis continent’s story.

They’re divided into High Lef and Woodon Lef, and Illium belongs to the Woodon Lef.

There’s still only one Woodon Lef job right now, so I can’t help but hope a new one gets added later.

10. Premium PC Room

45_11

Premium PC Room is a dedicated system that can only be used at Nexon-affiliated PC bangs!

When you log in from a PC bang, a dedicated UI appears on the left side of the screen, and you can receive rewards based on your connection time.

On December 21, it even became a hot topic by offering 5 hours of free PC bang access and 400 Sol Erda Fragments!

And that was my round of #끝말잇기 using words from MapleStory.

I feel like it’d be pretty fun to try this with friends using only Maple words too ㅎㅎ

A little late, but happy New Year, everyone—and I hope 2026 is filled with nothing but happy things for you all!
