Having fun and making the most of life in Erinn?

Now that December, the last month of 2025, is here,

I thought I’d look back at the things that have stayed with me most in Erinn.

Memorable places, stories, items, and all sorts of other things~

Let’s take a little trip down memory lane together and chat about what might be coming next!

*Heads up! Story spoilers ahead!

Most memorable town: Bangor

My most memorable town? This was a tough one!

I have at least one fond memory of every town, so I really had to think about which one to choose.

Back when I was still new to Erinn,

I’d gather in the square in Tir Chonaill with adventurers I’d never met before and play music together,

so I still think of it as a happy place.

With its campfire piled high with big logs,

Colhen is somewhere I’ve been meeting up with lots of other adventurers until quite recently.

In the end, I picked Bangor as my most memorable town!

Why? Because I’ve been visiting regularly aaall this time, ever since it first appeared~

Bangor is a town you naturally pass through on your trips to challenge the Abyss.

It’s also where you can transcend your equipment with Grandpa Edern’s help.

Seeing so many adventurers gathered in the middle of town around campfires they’ve built,

all chatting away together, is such a lovely sightㅎㅎ

Knowing how hard the people of Bangor worked to keep their town alive,

I’m happy to see it bustling now~

Most memorable place: Bean Rua

Looking beyond towns as a whole, my most memorable spot has to be~

Bean Rua, the pub in Emain Macha!

That cutscene where Rua, the pub’s popular singer, first appeared and sang

was so lovely that I can still replay it vividly in my head🥰💕

I’m hoping we’ll get all kinds of events here in the future~

What if Rua performed at set times, with special ways for players to interact with her?

I’d love to toss flowers toward the stage or give her a big round of applause!

Or they could add a simple minigame

for an event where we take the stage and perform in Rua’s place. That sounds fun, too!

Most memorable character: Esras

Esras, the villain who had the kingdom of Emain Macha wrapped around her finger!

She really made an impression when she appeared in the main story.

She turned the king into her puppet,

and she was a human who wanted to become a god. That’s what makes her so fascinating.

And on top of that, she’s the older sister of Tieve, who you can meet in Colhen…!

At the end of the story, we got a hint that Cichol might be bringing her back to life!

I’m so curious to see how she’ll return and stand in our way again~

Most memorable animal: the hamster

Of all the animals, the hamster pet is definitely the most memorable for me~

So soft and fluffy~ Such a tiny, adorable hamster! Too cute~

That dancing hamster Short on the Mabinogi Mobile YouTube channel

is especially addictive. I keep going back to watch it!

Not long after that video went up, an update gave us a way to interact with our pets.

I was a little disappointed that they couldn’t do that cute, wiggly dance like our hamster friend in the video, though…

I hope they’ll let pets dance along with us adventurers someday~

Most memorable item: the Meow Meow Magic Grenade

I bet just looking at this item makes you think you can hear a little meow meow~ somewhere😆

It’s one of those items we use a lot in the Abyss and raids!

When I first came to Erinn, this grenade seemed pretty useless,

but now that I’m a more seasoned adventurer, I get nervous without my Meow Meow Magic Grenades~

If you’re not used to using grenades yet,

don’t overthink it. Go ahead and use those Meow Meow Grenades freely!

You can get them as rewards in plenty of places, so there’s no need to worry about using them~
