2025 is already winding down.

Lately it’s gotten so much colder, and we even got the first snow, right?

When I hear carols outside and see places all decorated for Christmas, it really hits me that year-end is finally here.

So, in that spirit of wrapping up the year, I wanted to look back on the Nexon games I enjoyed this year.

MapleStory

MapleStory is a game I’ve been playing steadily since I was a kid!

I honestly never thought I’d still be enjoying it like this in 2025 ㅋㅋㅋ

Up until about two years ago, Mercedes was my main.

But because my hands started hurting, I switched over to Demon Avenger.

Back then, I mostly just played casually during Burning season,

but since last year, I’ve been working on my gear and taking on bosses regularly too!

Right now, my main is level 283, and my combat power is 86 million.

For bosses, I’m running up to Normal Verus Hilla. It’s the kind of boss I never even would’ve dreamed of attempting before, so clearing it for the first time this year made me really happy.

I’ve been putting off Liberation for a while now. My goal is to hit 100 million combat power and take on Liberation by Q2 2026.

My Union level is 9,100.

Since I love raising alt characters, I end up going hard every Hyper Burning event!

This winter break, I’m trying to decide between Xenon, Illium, and Night Lord.

I really want break season to get here already ㅎㅎ

Mabinogi Mobile

Mabinogi launched this year on March 27, and I started in April—I've been playing steadily ever since.

I’m even running four characters... 😂

My current main class is Archer. My combat power is 53,000, and my weapon is at +16.

Since I keep trying to push it to +17, it feels like my combat power has been stuck in place,

so lately I’ve been enhancing my armor and accessories too.

For Mythic equipment, I recently got two pieces: 'Blackened Halo' and 'Falling Stars'.

I’m using Blackened Halo right now, and it’s actually pretty solid!

*Damage received +15%, damage dealt to enemies +15%, when using a recovery potion, damage increase effects are nullified for 15 seconds, at +15 additional damage +6%

Lately I’d been putting off the life content, so I haven’t been able to do Transcendent Engraving. Because of that, I’m focusing on leveling up my life skills this week!

My goal before the end of this year is 54,000 combat power and 20,000 life power.

I think my life power will go up pretty fast if I just equip purple tools 😀

I never expected I’d stick with a mobile game for this long. (Even though I play it on PC..)

The daily chore content can run on auto, so it doesn’t feel too burdensome,

and since I’m playing with my guildmates, I think that’s why I keep logging in so consistently.

I’m planning to keep playing Mabinogi next year too!

Maple Idle

I’ve also been having a lot of fun with the new game that came out this year on November 6, 'Maple Idle'!

I’m currently playing an Ice/Lightning Arch Mage on Scania Server 1.

Right now I’m level 67, my combat power is 160 million, and I’ve made it to Chapter 12, El Nath!

I can’t leave it running all the time, but I do log in for about 30 minutes a day.

Since it’s an idle game, progression is fast and it’s easy to enjoy without any pressure, so I’m planning to keep playing it for a while.

My goal before this year ends is 500 million combat power and level 80.

I’m fully free-to-play right now, but if I can’t hit that goal, I might have to think about spending just a little ㅎㅎ

Still, resources build up pretty well even without spending, so it’s been easy to enjoy!

So that’s my little 2025 roundup of what I achieved in Nexon games and what I’m aiming for next.

I still can’t believe the year is already coming to an end,

but I should start slowly setting my 2026 goals too 😊 Hope you all have fun gaming!
