[Mabinogi Mobile] Let’s tackle deep dungeons with a 4-player party!
unknown
Hey, adventurer~!
Having fun and making the most of life in Erinn?
Deep Dungeons now have a “Very Hard” difficulty that lets you use 2 offerings at once!
Tougher, stronger Fomors with even more HP are waiting for you.
Each week, one dungeon opens up its Very Hard Deep Dungeon,
and there are achievements for clearing it, so make sure to get your weekly runs in and earn those achievements!
Entering costs two offerings at once, but you get double the rewards, too.
I'd recommend it if you want to burn through your offerings quickly and scoop up those rewards!
Just keep in mind that boss rooms often call for a little manual play,
so if you leave Assist on and don't check in at the right moment, you could end up with a low clear rank—watch out!
If you can, use the party finder to put together a 4-player party,
or round up your adventuring buddies for a bestie party and take it on together!
That way, a lack of communication won't leave you struggling with boss mechanics,
and being in a 4-player party also gives you an item drop rate buff~
*With a full 4-player party, that item drop rate boost is a whole 10%!
At the time of writing, the current Very Hard Deep Dungeon is Rabbie Floor 2, Area 3.
If you're a seasoned adventurer who's been playing Mabinogi Mobile since launch day, this place should feel very familiar.
After all, it was the go-to spot for using up offerings!
The boss waiting for you here is the Succubus.
Once her HP drops to a certain point, the Succubus becomes invincible
and unleashes a ground AoE that charms adventurers and pulls them in.
This AoE has three arms that rotate clockwise,
and if you don't stop attacking the Succubus at the right moment, you'll have a hard time surviving.
Get caught by the Succubus's charm and you'll be helpless, taking hit after hit from the AoE.
If you're playing a class that needs extra care with HP management, make sure to take manual control!
I remember dying to this mechanic plenty of times because I got greedy and tried to squeeze in more skills.
I tried using my ultimate's invincibility to get through the mechanic,
but I've also used it too early and ended up caught in the Succubus's AoE anyway.
Then there was the time I dodged the mechanic just fine,
but everyone else in my party got caught in the AoE and went down.
I didn't know whether to be flustered or laugh—it was a fun moment all the same😂
Once you've made it safely through the Succubus's charm mechanic and gone back to attacking,
the Succubus will mark one of your party members.
A dome-shaped barrier forms around the marked party member,
and you need to stay inside it to survive the final mechanic.
As a rule, it's best for the whole party to stay right next to the Succubus.
If you group up too far away from her, your melee party members will be left standing around with nothing they can do.
Step outside the barrier and your HP will drop frighteningly fast,
until you eventually go down, so be careful!
When I first faced the Succubus in Rabbie Dungeon,
I got this final mechanic backward and died fighting outside the barrier.
I thought the barrier itself was some kind of attack from the Succubus,
so I deliberately stepped outside to fight💦
I've also got a few quick tips for other Deep Dungeons that were open previously.
Keep these strategies in mind so you can put them to use the next time these dungeons open!
In the boss room of Southern Ruins Deep Dungeon 1-1 on Very Hard,
make absolutely sure you're targeting and attacking the boss, 싱글샷!
The wolf the boss summons has a whopping 10,000-plus HP,
so you're better off ignoring it and dodging its attacks as needed.
Even if your whole party attacks the wolf and somehow manages to take it down…
It's not the boss, so defeating it won't clear the dungeon!
What's more, if you take too long to defeat the boss, it can summon more wolves.
You can imagine how much longer that would make the run, right?
So when you enter the boss room, make sure to target the boss, not the summoned wolf!
In the boss room of Northern Ruins Deep Dungeon 2-3 on Very Hard,
I'd recommend having everyone head to the top of the stairs at the spot I've marked waaay over there.
Wait for the boss to follow you and your party up,
then fight it at the top of the stairs.
There's a reason for fighting up there:
a Fomor summoned near the stairs later in the fight sends out wave AoEs.
It keeps sending attacks rolling in like waves on the left, right, and center throughout the fight,
which makes it hard to keep up the pace.
If you fight at the top of the stairs, though, even when that summon sends out its AoEs,
you'll be out of range and can finish the run comfortably without worrying about them!👍
Coming back to dungeons I'd stopped running because I'd outleveled them
really brings back memories of my newbie adventurer days~
Plus, it's fun having to figure out these stronger bosses on the fly
and learn new strategies to beat them!
I hope you have fun running Very Hard Deep Dungeons with your party each week,
and that you come away with legendary runes as your rewards!
Well then, see you next time!
Bye~🖐🖐🖐
