Extraction shooters are all about getting out safely.
Today, I've put together a guide to extraction locations and a few simple tips for the early maps: Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, and Spaceport.

If you're a new player struggling to extract, be sure to read on!

From 11/3 (Mon) at 3 PM to 11/14 (Fri) at 11:59 PM

Dam Battlegrounds

This is the first map you unlock!
The Hydroponic Dome Complex, Research & Administration, Control Tower, and Power Generation Complex are all good places to loot.

There are 4 elevators and 4 hatches available for extraction. I've marked them on the map!

You can extract through either an elevator or a hatch, but you'll need a key to open a hatch.

Most of the time, you'll use an elevator. Once you call it, you'll need to wait about 20~30 seconds for the doors to open.
An alarm sounds while you wait, so I recommend taking cover right away.
Nearby ARC machines will swarm over, and other Raiders may show up too, making this a dangerous moment.

That's why you'll sometimes see downed Raiders in front of elevators…

You may also meet Raiders who want to extract with you.

If you do, hold the G key to call out “Don't shoot!” This signals that you want to leave safely without shooting each other.

To head back sooner, use the “Return to Speranza” interaction inside the elevator!

I've played about 10 rounds, and most players seemed focused on looting! ARC machines took me down far more often than Raiders did. Those ARC machines hit hard!

Buried City

The second map has 4 metro stations and 4 hatches for extraction. Unlike the previous map, it has no elevators—you'll use metro stations instead.

Normally, you can just ping your destination on the map and head over, but metro stations work a little differently.

You'll need to find the passage leading underground yourself. Select a station icon on the map to see where its entrances are, and be sure to ping an entrance before heading over!

Follow the path down to reach the station, but be prepared to run into ARC machines or Raiders along the way! Watch out for surprise encounters!
If you meet another Raider, call out “Don't shoot!” You may be able to extract together without firing at each other.

Spaceport

The third map falls roughly in the middle of the difficulty range.
Just like Dam Battlegrounds, it has 4 elevators and 4 hatches.

It might just be my imagination, but Spaceport seems to have noticeably more ARC machines.

The extraction process is the same as in Dam Battlegrounds, so keep those tips in mind!

Give Night Raids a Try Too!

All three maps also have “Night Raid” events at regular intervals. These are more difficult than the standard maps.

Fewer extraction points are active, and the hatches are closed.

There are more ARC machines, and Raiders flock in too!
The loot is said to be well worth it, though, so consider giving extraction a try. :D
