Nexon’s new title ARC Raiders is finally here!

I’ve basically been pulling all-nighters because I’ve been farming all day.

I still need to do my Mabinogi Mobile dailies too, so yeah... this is bad!

Today, I’ve also brought you

PEAK Quest that you Pico folks can take on to earn Nexon Cash.

The quest opens first-come, first-served starting at 3 PM on November 3,

and you can join by linking your Steam account and making your profile public.

ARC Raiders PEAK Quest #1 First Footsteps
When it begins, the quest participation button will activate at the bottom of this post.
Event Period: November 3, 3 PM ~ November 14, 11:59 PM

Mission 1.

Search loot containers!

Honestly, rookie Raiders don’t really need to pick fights.

The major areas on the map are full of competitors, so

it’s better to loop around the outskirts and farm containers like this.

The first objective of this quest is searching 50 loot containers, so

focus on staying alive and keep at it!

If you’re playing solo and hear an enemy nearby, press G and move your mouse upward

to shout Don’t shoot! and play it safe — that’s a handy little tip too!

After running the Dam battlefield around 6 times, you’ll unlock access to

a new area called Buried City,

and it’s actually a pretty nice spot for casual farming.

This place has a bunch of farming spots in the residential area.

The subway extraction point can be risky, though, since it’s hard to escape if you run into enemies there.

Farming spots change every run, so

there’s definitely some RNG, but when you find a locked door like this, it’s a huge win.

When my friend and I got into a locked room together,

there were more than 10 containers inside, so we filled our backpacks all the way up!

We made over 30,000 in a single run.

You should definitely keep an eye out for Buried City too!

Mission 2.

Fight the ARC

Even if you play it safe and focus on farming,

once you run into an ARC, the time to fight is going to come eventually.

The second objective of this PEAK Quest is dealing 1,000 damage to ARC machines!

So naturally, let me show you which weapons work well against ARC and how to deal with them.

One weapon you can use right from the very early game is Ferro.

It’s a single-shot rifle, so it’s slow, but it uses heavy ammo with great penetration, which makes it strong against ARC.

The weak point on the early drone-type ARC is the wing propeller section!

Break 2 to 3 propellers and it’ll drop, making it super easy to finish off.

There’s also Anvil, which is basically the upgraded version of Ferro.

It’s a hand cannon that uses heavy ammo, and it can load multiple rounds.

It’s one of the best weapons against ARC! And it’s pretty solid against players too.

Made it back to Speranza safely again today!
