Having fun and making the most of life in Erinn?

If you’re in a guild, you’re probably hard at work building your guild ship.

It’s always fun to come together and gather materials bit by bit until it’s finished!

You can watch the ship take shape as you complete each stage,

and special equipment like training dummies can appear on board, too.

If you’re still getting used to life skills,

I’ll walk you through a few materials that need a little extra attention when you’re building your ship.

Follow along, and you’ll be able to gather your shipbuilding materials more efficiently!

With the arrival of guild shipbuilding,

Tar, Glue, Rope, and Thick Fabric were added as new processed materials.

Let’s take a closer look at all four!

You can make Tar at a metal processing facility,

and each batch of 5 takes 50 Logs and 25 Clay.

You get Logs by chopping trees and Clay by digging with a hoe.

No special tricks needed here—you should be able to gather and process these pretty quickly.

Next up is Glue!

At a medicine processing facility, you can turn 30 High-Grade Raw Hides and 10 Bottles of Water into 5 Glue.

The materials for this one look simple enough at first,

but while hides can pile up pretty quickly, by the time you need them, you’ll often find you’ve sold most of them off and only have a few left.

I’ve put together the tables below to show you where to get High-Grade Raw Hides!

Keep them handy, and don’t forget to stock up~

You can also break down Finest Raw Hides into High-Grade Raw Hides at a 1:1 ratio.

*You might need Finest Raw Hides later on,

so don’t break them all down—keep some in storage!

You can also earn them as rewards for completing missions in 늑대의 숲, 여신의 뜰, and 얼음 협곡,

but if you’ve outleveled those hunting grounds, you might not feel like heading back to lower-level zones.

So try to gather as much as you can using the methods above~

Our next processed material is Rope.

You can make Rope at a fabric processing facility,

where 45 Plant Fiber and 4 Beeswax will make 3 Rope.

Plant Fiber is easy enough to craft from the Long Stalks you collect while harvesting,

but you can’t craft Beeswax at a processing facility, so you’ll need to buy it regularly to build up a supply.

Keep in mind that Guild Shop purchase limits are tracked per server.

That means your characters on the same server share the same shop listings.

Weekly shop purchases and daily trades, on the other hand, are tracked per character.

So if you have several alts, it’s worth making those purchases and trades on each one!

When it comes to Sturdy Rope,

you’ll need plenty of Beeswax, since making it involves processing Rope a second time.

Even if you don’t need to make Sturdy Rope right now,

I recommend buying Beeswax regularly whenever you can afford it and keeping a stockpile in storage~

Last up is Thick Fabric!

Just like Rope, you can craft it at a fabric processing facility,

and each batch of 3 pieces takes 50 Thick Wool, 100 High-Grade Wool, and 2 Beeswax.

You can get Thick Wool from Curly Sheep and Black Cloud Sheep.

Once you’ve selected Thick Fabric at the fabric processing facility,

select Thick Wool and open the ‘How to Obtain’ option that appears,

and you’ll be able to gather 50 Thick Wool in one go.

If you already have 50 or more Thick Wool in your inventory, though,

this method will only let you gather 10, so…

it’s a good idea to get ‘Golden Wool’ and let gathering run in batches of 10.

As I mentioned, Beeswax is only available through shop purchases,

and since you’ll need it for all sorts of processed materials, make sure to stock up ahead of time.

Once your guild ship is finished, you can use it for raid content,

or choose ‘Board Ship’ and use it as a spot for guild meetups.

Team up with your guildmates and gather the materials bit by bit at your own pace,

and hopefully you’ll have an awesome guild ship to show for it!
