Heyooo~ (˶ˊꇴˋو(و ⁾⁾

It's your Nexon Picker, 달냥.

If you're looking for some good anime to watch while gaming,

my picks would be Daemons of the Shadow Realm and JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3!

Episodes of both run about 24 minutes, so they're easy to fit in,

and they pair nicely with games that have auto-hunting, like Mabinogi Mobile.

I'll watch pretty much any genre of anime,

so I like having whatever I'm in the mood for playing on the side while I game.

(Only stuff I've already seen, though... like having the radio on, you know? Anything new gets my full attention.)

I've been playing Mabinogi Mobile on the PC client, which makes it pretty handy

to watch anime while auto-hunting does its thing.

And just as I've been catching up on JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3 after putting it off, some exciting news dropped.

Yep, the Mabinogi Mobile and JUJUTSU KAISEN collab kicks off on November 5!

Today, I'll share how I watch anime while gaming, what I've been watching lately,

and the collab news too.

1. Anime While Auto-Hunting! 2 Picks I've Been Enjoying

Mabinogi Mobile isn't just on mobile—you can play through the official PC client too.

I've been at my PC a lot lately, so that's where I usually play.

The game and Netflix on one screen... AI tools and work stuff on the other, that kind of setup.

When I'm grinding, I'll keep the game open on one side and watch anime on the other.

There's also Assist Mode (ASSIST ON/OFF) on the combat screen,

which I mentioned in my earlier post about games you can play with one hand!

It fires off regular skills automatically, so you don't have to do as much yourself.

Of course, when you need to move your character or dodge a boss's attack patterns yourself, you've gotta focus on the game, right?

So I'd recommend saving the anime for relatively simple gameplay, like grinding.

|| Daemons of the Shadow Realm ||

First up is Daemons of the Shadow Realm, which I recently finished watching on Netflix.

It's a fantasy action anime based on a manga by Hiromu Arakawa,

the creator known for Fullmetal Alchemist, and it follows Yuru, a boy living in a mountain village,

as he gets tangled up in the secrets surrounding him and a world of extraordinary beings.

If you've watched Fullmetal Alchemist, I'd recommend Daemons of the Shadow Realm, though it won't be everyone's thing.

The lead doesn't just blindly trust people like I expected, and he's actually pretty sensible? At least by my standards, so I kept watching,

thinking, "Now that's a refreshing protagonist."

The story keeps you curious right from the start, and the action's good too, so I got pretty hooked.

There's a lot of foreshadowing and important dialogue, though, so on your first watch, I'd recommend

keeping a close eye on the screen.

The anime just left me wanting more, so I ended up moving on to the manga. ㅋㅋㅋ

|| JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3 - Culling Game Part 1 ||

And right now, I'm watching JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3!

I'd already finished the JUJUTSU KAISEN manga, but honestly, I'd only watched the anime through Season 2.

I wasn't really into where the story went after that, and I already knew the ending from the manga... so I kept putting off Season 3.

Then I finally heard the Season 3 opening recently, and the song was so good it got me watching again. ㅋㅋㅋ

Season 3 covers the first part of the Culling Game,

and for me, JUJUTSU KAISEN's appeal is all those distinctive characters, their abilities, and the thrilling fights.

The action is such a big part of the experience, though, that whenever a cool fight scene comes on, the anime gets more of my attention than the game.

Here's a quick side-by-side look at the two.

Title	What to Expect	When to Watch While Gaming
Daemons of the Shadow Realm	Fantasy · Mystery · Action	Take it in at your own pace while grinding
JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3	Dark fantasy · Supernatural battles	Watch during easy hunts or downtime

Following the story is part of the fun with both, so rather than treating them as background noise,

I'd watch when you can switch your attention between the game and the anime.

2. November 5: Mabinogi Mobile X JUJUTSU KAISEN Collab

So, right as I've been watching JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3, some really exciting news dropped.

The Mabinogi Mobile X JUJUTSU KAISEN collab!

After maintenance on Thursday, November 5, 2026, through Thursday, December 3, at 5:59 AM

—that's when the collab event is set to run.

Here I am watching the anime, and it gets a collab with the very game I'm playing.

The timing, seriously ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Here's what they say we can look forward to in the collab.

Content	Highlights
Character Transformations	5 main JUJUTSU KAISEN characters
Event Missions	Daily check-ins · Daily training · Total playtime
Dunbarton	A JUJUTSU KAISEN-themed makeover for the area
Photo Booth	Collab-themed frames
Fashion · Pets	JUJUTSU KAISEN-themed items

And getting to transform into main characters like Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Satoru Gojo?

That's the biggest highlight for me.

└ They're even giving us an in-game photo booth, legendary ㅋㅋㅋ

Dunbarton's getting a JUJUTSU KAISEN theme too, so I'm curious to see how the town I always visit will look.

Imagine watching the anime, then logging into the game and finding JUJUTSU KAISEN characters there...

That's seriously good news for an otaku like me ㅋㅋㅋ

If you're already a JUJUTSU KAISEN fan, this collab could be

a good excuse to give Mabinogi Mobile a try.

Guess I'll be letting auto-hunting do its thing while I catch up on more anime today too.

Anyway, that's it for this post!

I'll be back next time with more game talk.

달냥, signing off!
