This post was written as part of
Nexon PEAK activities.

Hello!
Today, I’m proud to share my Dawn Warrior, who has been with me since my school days.
This character is special to me because it holds memories of my earliest days playing MapleStory, along with items and activity records collected over the years.
Before I began leveling my current characters, this was my main throughout my MapleStory adventures—a character full of memories!
01. Already 3,264 Days Since I Created This Character!
I started playing MapleStory when I was young, and Dawn Warrior was the character I chose to level. I remember creating this character during my school days, but I was curious to see exactly how long it had been.
Equipping the “[BTS] Time with Maple” item lets you see how much time has passed since your character was created.

The number displayed on my character was 3,264 days!
About 9 years had gone by. Seeing that time in numbers really brought home just how long this character had been with me. As I grew older, my Dawn Warrior grew older alongside me. ㅎㅎ
I was actually able to check without owning the item myself, simply by searching for it in the Maple Auction, adding it to the preview, and trying it on. If you have an old character, give it a try!
02. A Relic in My Inventory: The ARK Pre-Registration Chat Ring
A character who has been around this long is bound to have traces of those years tucked away in their inventory.
The item I’m proud to share is the “ARK Chat Ring”!

As I remember it, I received this ring for taking part in the Ark pre-creation event. The exact details of how I got it are a little hazy, though…;
Ark debuted as a new class on January 4, 2018. To think that update was already about 9 years ago—time really does fly. ㅋㅋ
Back then, it was an event reward. Now, it’s a keepsake that reflects the history of my longtime main.
03. A Record from 2017 Preserved in Achievements
I also found records of my Dawn Warrior’s past activities in the “Memories” tab under Achievements.
I think I earned the achievement along the way while leveling up and taking part in the content available back then…
The completion date for the “[Inferno Wolf] Fire-Eating Hunter” achievement was listed as November 29, 2017.

It was lovely to find a date marking the time I spent hunting and enjoying the game’s content. Back then, it was probably just an ordinary day of playing. Now, it feels like a treasured record of this character’s growth.
Looking through the “Memories” achievements that can no longer be earned reminded me, one by one, of the content I used to enjoy.
At the same time, I found myself thinking, I wish I’d taken part in more of the other events, too! With time, each of these records has become something to be proud of—a little piece of this longtime character’s history.
04. A World Leap for the Character Left Alone in Elysium

All this time, my Dawn Warrior had been left alone in Elysium.
My other Legion characters were in another world, leaving this one all on its own.
That was also part of why I didn’t log in to this character very often, despite the attachment I felt after so many years.

So this time, I used World Leap to move my Dawn Warrior to the world where my other Legion characters are.
I didn’t want this to be just a brief visit after so long, so I moved my Dawn Warrior somewhere we could keep spending time together. It finally feels like all my characters are together in one place, and that’s a satisfying feeling. ^ ^
If you’ve returned to MapleStory after a long break,
or if you have an old character, take a look through your equipment window and achievements.
You might find something to be proud of beyond your current level or Combat Power.
For my first character, too, what I’m proudest of is the memories and records built up over 3,264 days. ㅎㅎ
