Hi everyone, I'm 이호, an adventurer living in Erinn! When you're gaming, sometimes you just have to get those in-game chores out of the way. In Mabinogi Mobile, that means spending currencies like Silver Coins and Fomor Offerings to get them done.

That's when I leave the game running on auto and put on some music or a movie. Sometimes I'll watch a Crayon Shin-chan movie while running regular and deep dungeons on repeat to burn through my stockpile of offerings.

Besides the Crayon Shin-chan movies, another series I've enjoyed and want to recommend is 『OSHI NO KO』! I haven't finished it yet, but it hooks you right from episode 1. Best of all, the art and soundtrack are great. Honestly, I used to think gaming meant focusing on the game and nothing else.

But thanks to auto-battle in mobile games, realizing that “you can easily enjoy other hobbies while gaming” opened up a whole new world for me.

Wait, this is way better than I expected...?

Today, I'll chat about anime I've watched, share a few series I haven't seen yet but am curious about, and get into some Mabinogi Mobile collab news too!

First up is 『OSHI NO KO』. The entertainment industry setting was what first got me interested in OSHI NO KO. Then I saw that sparkly art style and thought, “I have to watch this!”

It pulled me in right from the start of episode 1. I haven't finished it, but I did go on a bit of a binge for a while. OSHI NO KO is especially famous for its soundtrack.

I'm talking about YOASOBI's “Idol”, which you've probably heard at least once! It's the opening theme for season 1 of 『OSHI NO KO』, and it struck a chord with an inner otaku I didn't even know I had.

If you love anime for both the art and the music, this one's definitely worth a look.

But the main reason I'm bringing up 『OSHI NO KO』 is that Mabinogi Mobile's Japanese server is getting a collab with it!

From what they've shown of the collab so far, it looks so good in Mabinogi Mobile's art style! That's what made me want to recommend OSHI NO KO!

(Please bring it to the Korean server too...)

What I actually watched while playing Mabinogi Mobile was a Crayon Shin-chan movie. If I remember right, it was 『Crayon Shin-chan Movie 9: The Adult Empire Strikes Back』.

I'd piled up a ton of offerings and was grinding through repeat runs. I wanted something light to watch while waiting for each run to finish, and I ended up binge-watching Crayon Shin-chan movies! My character handled the fighting while I watched anime!

Crayon Shin-chan is a beloved anime that just about anyone can sit back and enjoy, so it hardly needs an introduction. Instead, I'll explain why I picked The Adult Empire Strikes Back!

I often have my character play Hiroshi's Reminiscence, a track from The Adult Empire Strikes Back, in Mabinogi Mobile while I'm AFK.

If you're new to the Crayon Shin-chan movies, I definitely recommend starting with this one!

Next up is 『SPY x FAMILY』. I haven't watched it yet, but here's what got me interested: I've spotted Mabinogi Mobile players dressed up like Anya quite a few times. I thought the look worked really well with Mabinogi Mobile's art style.

After seeing her so often in-game, I wanted to include the series in today's recommendations too! My friends who love SPY x FAMILY all call it a feel-good anime. They especially keep going on about how cute Anya is. And then how cute she is again! You can't beat cute.

(My attempt at recreating Anya on the rebirth screen. See the resemblance?)

Mabinogi Mobile's distinctive art style really does work so well with anime.

Maybe that's part of the appeal? Now the Korean and Taiwanese servers are getting a JUJUTSU KAISEN collab!

Honestly, 『JUJUTSU KAISEN』 is another series I haven't watched yet. The collab news made me realize just how much attention it gets. Even though I haven't seen the anime, getting my first taste of such a famous series through the game has me curious.

So, how much longer do we have to wait?

2...

2 months?

“Nope. 2 days.”

The collabs differ across Korea, Japan, and Taiwan: Korea and Taiwan are getting 『JUJUTSU KAISEN』, while Japan is getting 『OSHI NO KO』. There's also a collab livestream announced for Taiwan tomorrow, November 4! I'm curious to see what it'll look like, so I'm planning to tune in too.

Title	Why I recommend it
OSHI NO KO	The art and YOASOBI's “Idol” theme song are so good
Crayon Shin-chan: The Adult Empire Strikes Back	For a fun way to kill time, you can't beat Crayon Shin-chan!
SPY x FAMILY	A feel-good anime that's a great match for Mabinogi Mobile

Honestly, I usually just put on music, so my recommendations ended up leaning toward anime with great soundtracks.

One of my favorite things about mobile games is being able to enjoy something else while I play.

Getting your chores done while enjoying your hobbies? Yes, please
