This time, I’d like to introduce my Mabinogi Mobile character, who has been with me as I’ve leveled up multiple classes.

My characters in the original game and the mobile version are different, but the pleasure of adventuring and growing in the world of Erinn still feels familiar.

In fact, I even used the same name I had in the original game.

Today, I’ll talk about my main character’s progress in Mabinogi Mobile, some memorable moments along the way, and why I want to keep developing this character.

My attachment to my Mabinogi Mobile character comes not just from the time I’ve spent developing it, but from memories stretching back to the original Mabinogi.

It’s already been about 20 years since I first discovered Mabinogi.

Back then, I was less concerned with elaborate progression systems or getting through content efficiently than I am today. Much of the enjoyment came from meeting people in the game and spending time together.

The time I spent with my guildmates still stands out in my memory.

Simply talking to someone in the game and heading out on an adventure together was a pleasure in itself.

When I tried Mabinogi Mobile years later, it was the familiar atmosphere of Erinn that I was happiest to return to.

Of course, the mobile version differs from the original in its combat and progression systems.

Still, the enjoyment of gradually developing a character and playing alongside others feels like an essential part of Mabinogi’s charm.

The character I’m introducing here is one I’ve built up myself in Mabinogi Mobile.

Rather than sticking with a single class, I’ve developed this character by trying and leveling up several different classes.

With all that time and effort reflected in my character’s progress, it’s only natural that I’ve grown attached.

My Mabinogi Mobile Character’s Progress

Mabinogi Mobile lets you level up a range of class families, including Warrior, Archer, Mage, Healer, Bard, and Thief.

You can try different combat styles rather than being limited to a single class.

At first, you’ll likely focus on leveling your main class, but others tend to catch your interest as you keep playing.

Each class has its own rhythm in combat, and that variety is part of the fun.

By leveling up multiple classes, I reached a combined class level of 675 and earned the Versatile title.

Progress can be quick with a familiar class, but a new one means starting with the basics and learning its skills.

Going through that process repeatedly can make progress feel slow at times.

Even so, earning the Versatile title was rewarding. It gave me a tangible achievement to show for the time I’d spent leveling different classes.

It felt like more than a stat increase—it was a record of the time I’d spent developing my character.

I enjoy seeing my combat power increase, but what stays with me more is the process of leveling each class and expanding what my character can do.

For me, reaching a goal through small steps feels more rewarding than achieving something big all at once.

I’ve actually been playing since shortly after launch, but my progress has been a little slow because I only play now and then.

Memorable Moments with a Longtime Character

When I think of the original Mabinogi, my first memories are of the time I spent with my old guildmates.

The gaming landscape has changed considerably since then, but memories of the people I played with don’t fade easily.

There are moments in Mabinogi Mobile that bring back similar feelings.

I feel that way when I take on dungeons or raids with other players.

Of course, playing in a party isn’t always enjoyable.

During raids, I’ve seen players turn on assist mode and step away, or spend their time crafting during combat.

Honestly, I found those moments frustrating and disappointing.

But those experiences also reminded me how important it is to have considerate party members who take an active part in the fight.

Over time, the difficult moments accumulate alongside the good memories.

To me, they’re all part of the time I’ve spent with my character.

Another thing that stands out is how my goals have gradually changed as my character has grown.

At first, the priorities are unlocking new content and getting the right equipment.

Later, longer-term goals such as class levels, achievements, and titles start to catch your attention.

For me, Versatile was one of those goals.

Ultimately, I think what matters when showing off a longtime character isn’t simply how much playtime you’ve logged, but what you experienced during that time.
