My MapleStory character, created on July 2, 2020

I checked the Time Spent with MapleStory feature that BTS's Jimin made, and it turns out I've been playing MapleStory for 2313 days.

Is this for real..? I never thought I'd be playing MapleStory for this long..

When I started playing MapleStory, I started a blog to keep track of my adventures too. For those blog posts,

I took tons of screenshots, so my MapleStory folder is full of all kinds of shots from my earliest days right up to now.

Sometimes I pull up those old screenshots, and it's pretty fun to see how much my taste in outfits has changed over the years. So today, I thought I'd look back at my character's outfit evolution—I've put so much love into raising him all this time.

My first favorite face was 화풀린 뾰로통 얼굴

When I got back into MapleStory, I really fell for 화풀린 뾰로통 얼굴 and wanted it for my character,

but it wasn't a popular face, so it took ages to come back around. I loved it so much that I even sent a request through Customer Support - Suggestions.

I thought this face was so pretty back then, and these were the outfits I wore with it.

Falling for long hair and the 차차 face

Around this time, 차차 was released, and the 차차 face was so pretty that I switched from 화풀린 뾰로퉁 to 차차ㅎㅎ;

I was obsessed with long hair on male characters then, so I was always putting together outfits with 민트 hair, 동백 hair + the 차차 face,

and I really miss that era of mine..

I loved the 러블 hair and 한결신비 combo so much

I originally liked 차차 more than 한결신비. The thing with 한결신비 was that, paired with the right hair,

it looked ridiculously handsome—but with the wrong hair, it looked ridiculously ugly..

한결신비 was hard to style, so it wasn't really a favorite of mine.

One day, I fell head over heels for 러블 hair and started wearing it all the time. 한결신비 looked so much better with it than 차차 did, so I spent a long time putting together all kinds of outfits with the 러블 hair + 한결신비 combo.

And just like that, my favorite face went from 차차 to 한결신비..

Back then, I loved 러블 hair so much that I thought I'd use it forever. Now I don't use it at allㅋㅋㅠ

All my 러블 hairstyles are tucked away on my mannequins. I loved that hair so much that even though I don't wear it anymore, I just can't bring myself to get rid of it.

Some outfits I've worn lately

These days, I stick with 한결신비 for the face and pick whatever hairstyle I feel like to put together different outfits.

Sometimes I get a little tired of 한결신비 and want to try a different face,

but I still haven't found a male face as pretty as 한결신비, so I'm sticking with it~

I finally took another look back at my outfit evolution after a while, and every time I see those old outfits, they look like such a messㅠㅠ

I wore them because I thought they looked pretty at the time, but looking at them now, they're practically fashion crimes. So embarrassing...😅
