3 Upcoming Nexon Games: Why I’m Looking Forward to Vindictus, NAKWON, and Azur Promilia
꽤돼

[This post was created as part of Nexon PEAK activities.]
Hello, I’m 꽤돼.
While browsing the new games Nexon is developing or preparing to publish in Korea, three stood out as titles I’m personally looking forward to.
The one I’m most excited about is Vindictus: Defying Fate, thanks to my fond memories of playing Vindictus.
I’m also interested in NAKWON, a zombie survival game set in Seoul, and Azur Promilia, which looks to offer a variety of life-sim activities, including farming and collecting.
I haven’t played any of these three games yet, but I’d like to share what has caught my attention in the footage and information released so far.
Vindictus: Defying Fate
Looking forward to it as a fan of the action in Vindictus

Vindictus: Defying Fate is a new, standalone action RPG based on the Vindictus IP, currently targeting a 2027 release.
I really enjoyed playing Vindictus back in the day.
I mainly played Lann and Karok, and I still remember matching strength with a giant polar bear as Karok.
Watching Karok use sheer strength to stop an attack from a boss much larger than himself was particularly impressive.
Above all, the graphics and the satisfying impact of each hit in Vindictus were incredible for the time.
There are plenty of games with outstanding graphics now, but I think that was the first time I’d played something quite so visually impressive.
Perhaps that’s why the footage of Vindictus: Defying Fate, which draws on the same IP, immediately caught my attention.
Of course, Vindictus: Defying Fate is a new game, separate from the original Vindictus. It’s being developed primarily as a single-player experience, though multiplayer support is also planned for some content.
Unsurprisingly, the combat is what I’m most looking forward to. I’m curious to see how well Vindictus: Defying Fate puts its own spin on the original’s striking visuals and satisfying combat impact.
If it’s also well optimized at launch, I think I’ll really enjoy playing it.
NAKWON: LAST PARADISE
Surviving a zombie outbreak in Seoul

The second game is NAKWON: LAST PARADISE.
NAKWON is a PvPvE survival game set in Seoul after a zombie outbreak. You’ll need to gather supplies and stay alive in a city full of infected, encountering other survivors along the way.
The Seoul setting and PvPvE format are what caught my interest most.
The premise alone intrigued me: instead of an overseas city, the game puts zombies on the familiar streets of Seoul.
PvPvE means you need to watch out not only for in-game enemies such as zombies, but also for other players.
Exploring the city, fighting zombies, and gathering supplies all sound fun, but I’m especially curious to see what happens when players cross paths.
Mutual suspicion could lead to a fight, but I’m also hoping to see players cooperate when the situation calls for it.
If possible, I’d like to try surviving alongside people I meet in the game.
I also tend to enjoy survival games like this more with friends than on my own.
When NAKWON launches, I’d like to explore Seoul with my friends, gathering supplies and trying to survive together.
Azur Promilia
Why I’m more excited about farming and collecting

The last game is Azur Promilia.
Azur Promilia is a fantasy world RPG developed by Manjuu, with Nexon handling publishing and operations in Korea.
It is scheduled to officially launch on PC and mobile on November 26, 2026.
At first, I thought it was simply an RPG focused on collecting characters and combat, but the footage revealed more variety in its life-sim activities than I’d expected.
The scenes of farming, gathering materials, collecting creatures called Kibo, and decorating your own space particularly caught my eye.
I’ve always quite enjoyed collecting things in games.
Combat is fun too, but I personally get more enjoyment out of farming, gathering materials, and decorating a home or village.
Those kinds of life-sim activities were also what I enjoyed about a game called Z9별 back in the day.
In Azur Promilia, you’ll reportedly be able to collect mysterious creatures called Kibo, take them on adventures, and enlist their help with activities such as farming and crafting.
The Korean closed beta also showed Kibo planting seeds, watering crops, and helping with the harvest.
These systems have me looking forward to collecting my favorite Kibo one by one and gathering materials to decorate a space of my own.
Of course, I haven’t played it myself yet, so I’ll have to wait until the official launch to see how much depth these life-sim activities offer.
Still, it appeals to me as the game that looks to offer the most relaxed experience of the three.
Which of the three am I looking forward to most?
Here’s a summary of the release schedules announced so far.

Of the three, Vindictus: Defying Fate is my first choice to play once it’s released.
That largely comes down to my fond memories of playing Vindictus. I’m curious to see whether the action feels as spectacular to play as it looks in the footage released so far.
In NAKWON, I want to experience the fun of surviving with friends, while in Azur Promilia, I’m looking forward to trying life-sim activities such as farming and collecting for myself.
I’m looking forward to all three for different reasons, and I’d like to play each one after launch to see how the features that caught my interest turn out.
That’s all from me, 꽤돼.
