Hello.

MapleStory regularly runs collaborations. In recent years, there has been at least 1 each year, sometimes more. With the choice of partner central to any collaboration, there is naturally interest in what might come next.

“I said I would read your collaboration suggestions if you left them on YouTube or in the NOW comments, and you left an enormous number. I’m not exaggerating when I say I read roughly the top 100, and we actually reached out to around 20 of those. Some were partners we had contacted before, while others were new contacts. Some have replied, some have not, and some do not do collaborations at all. In any case, we have heard all that feedback from our Maplers, and we will use it to guide our preparations.”

The director made these remarks toward the end of last October’s Maple NOW. Curious about which IPs had been suggested, I looked through the top 30 suggestions on NEXON LIVE, ranked by likes.

The top 30 collaboration suggestions on NEXON LIVE, ranked by likes

1) I sorted the comments on September’s Maple NOW on NEXON LIVE by likes and selected 30 suggestions, excluding duplicates. This was the broadcast where viewers were asked which IPs they would like to see collaborations with.

2) There is no way to know whether the MapleStory team contacted anyone on the list below or received a response, so this list should be treated as a reference only. Still, the director said he had read the top 100. Even by a conservative estimate, these 30 suggestions, ranked by likes, were more likely than others to have made it onto the list for consideration.

3) Where a collaboration has taken place before, I have included an image from it.
