[Mabinogi Mobile] A Slice of My Gaming Life: Taking Halloween Screenshots! (+ A Guide to 3 Photo Spots)

The image above is a screenshot from last Halloween.

As of today, I’ve already made it to day 498 of surviving as an adventurer in Erinn.

Just like last Halloween, I’m heading out for another round of Halloween photos~!

I can’t believe a whole year has gone by already… This game has become part of my everyday life.

I’ve picked 3 places for today’s photos, after spending a few days wandering around the map to find the right spots.

Dunbarton has been decked out with all sorts of Halloween decorations,

and touches like these are one of the things I love about Mabinogi Mobile.

The 3 spots are the farm, Dunbarton Church, and Nightmare Floor 17.

As you’ll see in the photos below, the pumpkins, props, ghosts, and other little details really set the Halloween mood.

Last year, my theme was a nun consumed by darkness(?),

but this year, I’ve put together a little witch look and picked out the jiangshi outfit released through the event.

First Screenshot Spot: Dunbarton Farm, Home to Phantom Thieves and Watchmen

You’ll find these fields to the west of Dunbarton.

This area was decorated for the phantom thief and watchman game last year, and it’s all dressed up again this year!

With pumpkins dotted around and ghosts hanging overhead, it’s just the place for Halloween photos!

It feels especially spooky at night.

One reason I especially love Halloween is that so much of it goes perfectly with my signature tangerine color!

So, of course, I always make sure to take some screenshots.

For this shoot, I used Halloween Dance and Halloween Snack, the actions released for this Halloween!

Mabinogi Mobile really does deliver when it comes to animations.

Another little detail: if you tap capture around here, pumpkins appear that you can only see in [Photo Mode]!

(The pumpkin on the left with the glowing eyes is only visible in Photo Mode!)

Second Screenshot Spot: The Church Garden Overlooking Dunbarton Square

For this spot, take your photos from Dunbarton Church, facing the square.

What I like about this angle is that you can see the ghosts in the square. They have such a lovely mix of spooky and cute!

While the farm lets you get right up close to the pumpkins,

this spot has a different charm, with ghosts in the distance giving the backdrop a real sense of depth!

You can fit the whole scene into the shot, which is great!

If you take a photo at the bend in the fence where my character is standing,

Ta-da!

You can get a cute shot like this! The observation deck is another nice place for photos, though…

As you can see, you’re shooting down from above on the observation deck,

so your camera angles are limited, and a few structures get in the way.

Third Screenshot Spot: Nightmare Floor 17

Last up is Nightmare Floor 17! Isn’t that a hunting area, you ask? Yes, it is.

With a Succubus as the boss, the area just before you enter looks similar to Rabbie Dungeon,

and I thought the purple backdrop would suit the witch look, so I added it to my list.

It also just occurred to me that the gem daily dungeon would probably work well too!

One thing to note: because of combat mode, you’ll need to turn off the automatic compass before entering.

The lighting has a definite purple cast, which makes the place feel even spookier!

It really is the perfect setting for a witch look!

One lovely thing about Mabinogi Mobile is how thoughtfully its locations are decorated for occasions like this,

making it easy to capture those moments in photos and look back on the memories.

Here’s to my 499th day in Erinn and my second Halloween here,
Happy Halloween~!
