You might want a spacious My Home in Emain Macha
or an expensive weapon recipe that costs hundreds of millions of gold.

If you have a goal like that, don't just save without a plan.
I recommend setting aside a character specifically for saving gold
and tracking your income and expenses.
Here are the gold farming methods and small ways to save that I use.

🐿 Time to Save Up, Alts

There's a simple reason to dedicate a character to saving gold:
you can cut back on progression costs
and focus on reaching your savings target.

If you're saving for My Home, the largest house,
at 2-6 Emain Macha, costs 15 million gold.
Even if you sign the contract with an alt character, the house belongs to your account,
so your main character can use it too.

The same idea applies if you're aiming for an expensive equipment recipe.
Recipe boxes for 드래케인 weapons—the top-tier weapons
currently sought mainly by big spenders—can be moved between characters through shared storage.
With a substantial 100 million gold to save,
having a separate gold farming character makes your savings easier to manage.

When building your gold farming character, keep progression spending to a minimum,
including equipment enhancement, rune promotion, and gem alchemy.
Once you start spending gold on that character's growth,
your savings target becomes harder to reach.

💸 Know Where the Money Is

1) Where to Spend Your Silver Coins

When spending silver coins, I recommend prioritizing hunting grounds over dungeons.

Gold ingots are one of the main rewards from hunting grounds,
and you can sell them for gold.
Different combat activities focus on different rewards:
dungeons mainly offer character progression materials,
while hunting grounds tend to be better for earning currency.

2) Don't Miss the Shining Cave

Of all the daily dungeons, the Shining Cave is one
your gold-saving character shouldn't miss.

On Mondays and Thursdays, the daily dungeon

is the Shining Cave, where you can earn gold ingots.
On Sundays, you can choose between the gold, gem, and catalyst dungeons.
If you're farming gold, the Shining Cave is the best choice here too.

This is a weekly opportunity you won't want to miss.
If you're saving gold, keep Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays in mind.

3) Collect Your Weekly Pay

Weekly rewards from Abyss and raids are another useful source of gold.

Each of the 3 Abyss encounters and 3 raids offers a weekly reward of 100,000 gold,
so completing all six earns you 600,000 gold every week.
Pick up the weekly rewards from 뱅가드 브리치 as well for some extra income.

This isn't a game where you can make a fortune in one go,
so it's important to collect all your available rewards each week.
Consistent play makes a difference to how much you save.

🛠 Improve Performance Instead of Repairing

Cutting unnecessary expenses
matters just as much as saving gold.
One expense I watch closely is equipment repairs.

Your equipment loses durability as you take part in combat activities.
When durability reaches 0, effects such as engraved runes and skill specializations stop working properly,
and the combat power that equipment provides also drops.
Repairs will get it working normally again,
but they can cost almost 400,000 gold.

This is where Performance Improvement comes in.
This feature takes the stats from a higher-performing piece of equipment
and applies them to your existing gear.
It's a useful way to boost stats such as attack or defense without setting up a new piece of equipment.

Here's the detail worth knowing:
Performance Improvement also fully restores your existing equipment's durability.
That means you can get your gear working again
without paying for repairs at a blacksmith or weapon shop.

There are a few conditions, of course.
You'll need a piece of equipment that performs better than your current one to use as material,
and gear that's already at maximum performance can't be improved further.
Holding on to equipment for materials also adds weight to your bag.

Rather than relying entirely on Performance Improvement, weigh up your equipment's stats and durability
alongside the materials you have available.
This tip can save gold on your main character as well as your gold-saving alts.

🏁 A Little at a Time, All the Way to 드래케인

Dedicate a character to saving gold,
earn currency in hunting grounds and the Shining Cave,
and collect all your weekly rewards.
Keep recurring expenses such as repair costs in check too,
and your savings will grow faster.

For me, saving a large amount of gold in Mabinogi Mobile
comes down to consistency and managing your money.
Once you've set a goal, keep progression spending separate from gold farming,
and don't miss out on your weekly rewards.

There's a little fun in checking your gold and realizing you're closer to your target than you thought.
