Every update brings a whole batch of new quests. When I was a beginner, I often missed them because I didn’t know what was available. With so many quests to choose from, even figuring out what to check felt overwhelming.

This time, I’ll walk you through three Halloween event missions to tackle right now and how to get started with each. We’ll cover Notes of Terror, the Witch Cat Shop, and Hop! Hop! Hop! Echoing Through Dunbarton, plus 2 more.

I decided to cover events before other quests and missions because claiming rewards from event tabs, starting quests in town, and collecting coins to spend at a shop all work differently, so I thought it would be easy to miss something.

But now that you’re here, don’t worry! I’ll walk you through it all.

Most of the Halloween content runs from the end of maintenance on October 15, 2026, until November 5 at 5:59 AM. That gives us about 2 weeks. For the Witch Cat Shop, though, you’ll need to start collecting coins steadily now if you want to exchange them for everything, so it’s worth checking out.

First, here’s a quick overview, organized by reward!

An easy way to keep things straight: outfits and actions come from the Hop Hop quest, merchandise raffle tickets from the Witch Cat Shop, and Notes of Terror from the Events tab.

Also, “per server” means the limit is shared by all your characters on the same server. Logging in on an alt won’t let you claim the same reward again, so do the quest on the character you want to receive it!

First up is Hop! Hop! Hop! Echoing Through Dunbarton. You can start by selecting the quest or talking to Aeira, an NPC in Dunbarton. If the quest doesn’t appear, check that you’ve completed the prerequisites. According to the official event notice, you need to complete “To Dunbarton!” and continue through “Reporting the Subjugation Results,” a quest recommended for level 29, to participate.

The story begins with jiangshi appearing in Dunbarton! It turns out these cute jiangshi just wanted someone to play with. They only appear briefly as NPCs, but they’re adorable. I’ll leave it there to avoid spoilers!

You can complete this quest 1 time per server, and the “Hop Hop Gift Box” reward contains the Midnight Spell Hat, Uniform, and Shoes, plus “Action: Hop Hop”. You can put the unopened box in shared storage. The character who opens it receives the outfit and action items, so decide who you want to wear the outfit before opening it.

What stood out to me was the distinctive animation paired with the jiangshi outfit. The movements are funny, and the expression is cute, too. It’s more adorable than scary for a Halloween look, but I really like it!

Next is the Witch Cat Shop. You can spend “2026 Halloween Coins” on items in the [Events] tab when talking to the “Halloween Cat” beside the Dunbarton theater troupe. The item I really wanted to highlight is the Nao keycap! Its full product name is 넥슨에센셜 Merchandise “Nao Figure Keycap” Raffle Ticket. This ticket enters you in a raffle for physical merchandise.

I’ve put together a table of shop items worth checking first. This isn’t the full shop lineup, and all the raffle tickets below are 넥슨에센셜 merchandise raffle tickets!

Exchanging coins for a raffle ticket automatically enters you in the draw—no separate entry is needed. Exchanging on multiple servers still only gives you 1 entry per account. You can enter for multiple prizes, but there’s a limit of 1 win per person. Unreleased merchandise for a game I love—how could I resist?

To earn coins, you’ll also need to know about 에이미’s Witch Soup. Once you’ve completed the “To Dunbarton” main quest, you can take on “Witch Soup for Everyone” from 에이미 at the Dunbarton Theater. Delivering soup ingredients earns you 5 coins for every 1 ingredient, up to 350 coins per week shared across your characters on the same server. This limit resets every Monday at 6 AM.

You can also deliver ingredients through [Menu (≡)] → [Events] → [Let’s Make Soup for Halloween!] → [Deliver]. It’s a quick way to turn them in without selecting 에이미 on the map! The coins expire on November 5 at 5:59 AM. Don’t just collect them—remember to spend them at the Witch Cat Shop!

You’ll find Notes of Terror under [Menu (≡)] → [Events] → [Halloween Notes of Terror]. Complete the listed missions, then claim your gifts from that tab.

During week 1, which is underway as of October 18, you can earn “Note of Terror: A Rainy Night” by clearing the Abyss 3 times, and “Note of Terror: The Room Next Door” by clearing raids 2 times. Use the notes to read the chilling stories inside.

Mission progress is shared across your characters on the same server, and each gift can be claimed 1 time per server. If you play multiple characters on that server, you won’t need to start each mission from scratch on every character.

Keep in mind that gifts go into the bag of the character who clicks the claim button and cannot be transferred to another character. Weekly missions refresh every Thursday at 6 AM. Week 1 runs until October 22 at 5:59 AM. If you miss a week, don’t worry—you can catch up on everything in a single week!

There’s 1 more quest to check out in Dunbarton: the Halloween cake quest from NPCs 데윈 and 카밀라, who are wearing the new Halloween outfits. You can complete it on each character and enjoy a short Halloween episode!

Halloween is still 2 weeks away, but having these quests to complete makes the wait 2 times as fun! And we can’t forget the Halloween 4-panel photos, can we? These quests are easy to overlook and only available for a limited time, so let’s make sure we don’t miss out!
