Today, I’m sharing a guide to the MapleStory Hangeul Day event’s

[Energy of Hangeul] hidden mission!

From October 2, 2025 (Thu) at 10 AM to October 15 (Wed) at 11:59 PM,

you can collect 'Energy of Hangeul' by hunting monsters within your level range,

then use it to create your own medal.

Completing the hidden mission

earns you a Hangeul Damage Skin Selection Box as well.

MapleStory Hangeul Day Hidden Mission Guide

01. Claim Your Medal

To attempt the Hangeul Day hidden mission, you need the 'Mysterious Energy of Hangeul' medal.

To obtain the medal, meet the following requirements:

Hunt monsters to collect at least 10 Energy of Hangeul Perform at least 1 text reset * Once you meet the requirements, you can claim the medal from the event UI. * You can still reset the text after claiming the medal.

02. Talk to Thales

On the character that has the medal, visit the Grand Athenaeum and talk to NPC Head Librarian Thales.

To reach him, select [Quick Move] - [Dimensional Mirror] - [Maple Chronicle: Grand Athenaeum].

03. Go to the Magic Library in Ellinia

Next, use Maple Guide to travel to the Magic Library in Ellinia.

With the 'Mysterious Energy of Hangeul' medal equipped, click the green book in the upper right.

* If you cannot proceed, check that the medal is in your equipment slot, not your appearance slot.

After the dialogue ends, you will receive a 'Hangeul Damage Skin Selection Box' as your reward.

The hidden mission is only available until October 15 (Wed) at 11:59 PM, so keep the deadline in mind.

Hidden Mission Easter Eggs

You can still talk to the Magic Potion Encyclopedia after completing the quest.

Interestingly, its dialogue changes depending on the text on your medal!

Most phrases produce the same dialogue,

but the phrase I’m using, Wanting to Go Home, triggered the dialogue shown above! ㅎㅎㅎ

If your medal has a long phrase, you may also get the dialogue shown here.

Try clicking the book after completing the quest to see what it says!

The reward for the Energy of Hangeul hidden mission is the Hangeul Damage Skin Selection Box.

You can choose one of the following 3 damage skins:

MapleStory Font Damage Skin (Hangeul) Hangeul Day Damage Skin (Hangeul) Hangeul Day Gungseo Font Damage Skin (Hangeul)
