There are 2 essential quests that players often skip, either because they seem like a hassle or because they do not know they exist: Will of the Alliance and Echo of Hero. Skipping them means missing out on converted stats, so make sure to complete both. I will walk you through the steps below—just follow along.

Will of the Alliance Quest

• Explorers: Athena Pierce's Call

• Demon, Resistance, Xenon: [Alliance] Continental Conference

• Luminous: An Invitation on the Wind

• Cygnus Knights: An Audience with the Empress

• Mihile: Regular Alliance Meeting > Cygnus, the Transcendent Candidate

• Evan: Complete the Village of Suspicion quest

• Shade: Nightmare > An Audience with the Empress

• Phantom: Complete the You Are Not Fighting Alone quest

• Other classes: [Alliance] An Invitation to the Alliance

The Will of the Alliance quest rewards you with a buff that permanently increases All Stats, Attack Power, and Magic Attack. The quest name varies by class, so use the list above to find and accept the right one. After accepting the Will of the Alliance quest, you only need to go through about 3 minutes of story to receive the buff. Make sure to claim it.

Echo of Hero Quest

You can complete MapleStory's Echo of Hero quest with a character at level 200 or above. Accept the quest 'The Goddess's Blessing', then head to Orbis Tower, 8th Floor. From there, go down to find the [Statue] NPC. Click it to receive the Echo of Hero buff.

Echo of Hero increases Attack Power and Magic Attack by a full 4%, and you can keep it active at all times. That makes it an essential buff to pick up. It is useful in hunting areas for level 290 and above, as well as in boss fights, so make sure to get it.

Erda Permeation

While this is not a quest, you should also activate the recently added Erda Permeation skill. You can obtain it by using Nodestones. It applies a Slow debuff and grants 10 All Stats, helping you raise your converted stats. Keep it in mind for bosses below Seren, where it can be useful.
