This post was created as part of
the NEXON PEAK program.

Mabinogi Mobile has a wide range of achievements and titles, but I spent more time earning one title than any other: "Maxed-Out Life Skills." It sits between "The Language of Our Nation" and "Nightmare Hunter" because I only recently earned it—the titles are currently sorted by most recently acquired.

To earn the title, you need to reach level 30 or higher in every production skill. Life skills fall into two broad categories: gathering and crafting. Gathering includes general gathering, woodcutting, mining, herb gathering, sheep shearing, harvesting, hoeing, insect collecting, and fishing. If you regularly work on life skills in Mabinogi Mobile, you may find that your gathering skills have hit the level cap before you even realize it. I will share the methods I used, both for those who have not reached that point and for anyone looking to gather the materials needed to level up crafting.

Maxed-Out Life Skills, Method One: Basic Gathering
The simplest approach is the most effective way to level up. The starting point for all production
The easiest way to level up your gathering skills is simply to gather. Higher levels let you gather a wider variety of items and earn more gathering EXP. Choosing items appropriate to your level is the fastest way to progress. You only need 2 things: plenty of bag space and a large supply of tools. Gathering EXP is awarded per action, not based on how much you collect at once, so one option is to stock your bag with plenty of the lowest-tier beginner tools.

Maxed-Out Life Skills, Method Two - Bartering
Gather, cook, and stock up on materials that take time to process—all at once
Processing materials is essential to leveling crafting for Maxed-Out Life Skills, but there is one catch: it takes time. A membership reduces processing times; without one, you will have a longer wait. I currently have a membership, so the times below reflect that.

There are several types of processing, but I will use metal processing as an example. Turning iron ore into an iron ingot takes 30 seconds, while turning an iron ingot into a steel ingot takes 5 minutes. The issue is that processing takes longer as you advance through the stages and work with higher-grade materials. Processing steel ingots into alloy steel ingots takes 2 hours and 30 minutes; alloy steel ingots into special steel ingots takes 2 hours and 30 minutes; special steel ingots into silver alloy ingots takes 3 hours and 10 minutes; silver alloy ingots into meteoric iron ingots takes 4 hours; and meteoric iron ingots into platinum steel ingots takes 5 hours.

As a result, you can keep your processing facilities running constantly and still run short of crafting materials. When that happens, you can buy materials from the marketplace or barter with the residents of Erinn. Most trades let you exchange cooked dishes for goods. Along with the materials you receive, you earn gathering EXP from collecting ingredients and production EXP from cooking them—3 benefits in 1. The table below lists the trades I regularly make. I hope you find it helpful.

Maxed-Out Life Skills, Method Three - Mission Boards
EXP from doing the work + EXP from completing missions
Colhen, Tir Chonaill, Dunbarton, Bangor, and Emain Macha each have a mission board. Any adventurer living in Erinn can buy mission scrolls from these boards to take on missions and earn the associated rewards upon completion. Missions that ask you to deliver gathered items can be useful, but I particularly want to highlight crafting missions.
Tir Chonaill sells mission scrolls that reward Handicraft production EXP. The mission boards in Dunbarton and Bangor sell weapon crafting scrolls, while those in Colhen and Emain Macha sell armor crafting mission scrolls. You earn EXP for crafting the items and a separate EXP reward for completing the mission, making these missions well worth doing. Crafting EXP is harder to earn than gathering EXP because you need to source the materials before you can make anything. Mission boards let you earn more EXP for that effort, so I recommend making full use of them. In fact, they helped me earn the Maxed-Out Life Skills title.

Maxed-Out Life Skills, Method Four - Weekend Part-Time Jobs
Make use of the weekend-only Border Guard Supply part-time job
The fourth way to earn gathering and crafting EXP is Aodhan's weekend-only National Restoration Project Border Guard Supply part-time job. Aodhan first asks for three types of gathered items, then requests weapons or armor for you to craft and turn in. It is a good opportunity to earn both gathering and crafting EXP.

Aodhan's part-time job becomes available on weekends, but you can only accept it on Saturday, so be sure to sign up that day. Once you have accepted it, you have until Sunday to finish the work and complete the job.

One of the three gathering requests is always for 20 pieces of leather; the other two are random. These can include finest spider webs, finest wool, cupronickel ore, silver ore, high-grade logs+, and finest logs+. He asks for 100 of each of these other items, so you will be handing over a substantial amount.

The second request is for crafted weapons or armor. Generally, you only need to have 5 of the requested item in your inventory and hand them over, rather than make them yourself. If you do craft them and get a great success, you can produce 2 items to turn in using the materials for 1. Alternatively, you can buy the items from the marketplace and deliver them. Weapon requests award production EXP in either Magic Craft, Carpentry, or Blacksmithing, while armor requests award production EXP in either Tailoring, Light Armor Crafting, or Heavy Armor Crafting.

You also get to see Aodhan give you a beaming smile, sparkles and all. He will owe you a favor, too, giving you a chance to receive his help down the line. Those are a couple of extra reasons to make time for this job.

Maxed-Out Life Skills, Method Five - Buffs
Rebirth buff + food buffs (Gale Fairy Floss + black tea) + legendary mount
If you are already putting in the effort, buffs can help you earn a little more EXP along the way. Using a Rebirth Stone to undergo rebirth grants buffs that last for 7 days. One of these increases life skill EXP gained by 5%. You can also add buffs from food.
Sharing Grand Feast: Gale Fairy Floss at a campfire gives you +10% life skill EXP, while black tea increases life skill EXP gained by 3%. Quite a few players who focus on life skills share food, often offering fairy floss + black tea together. To earn EXP a little faster, work on your life skills within 7 days of rebirth, after sharing food at a campfire.

A legendary mount is nice to have, but there is no need to stretch your budget if you do not own one. Its 10% increase in life skill EXP is substantial, but so is the cost. Decide whether it is worth it for your needs.

Those are my tips for earning "Maxed-Out Life Skills," the hardest title I have earned so far in Mabinogi Mobile. After all the time and attention I put into it, finally unlocking it was very satisfying. That effort made the achievement genuinely rewarding. If you have been thinking about working toward the Maxed-Out Life Skills title, why not give it a try?
