Today, I’m returning to Mapleland for the first time in a while. On October 16, Mapleland wrapped up maintenance and launched its Halloween event. This year’s theme is the Haunted House, and I’ve been invited back once again. You can get there by taking the taxi at the far left of New Leaf City in Masteria. So, what can we expect from this Halloween event? In this post, I’ll share a complete guide to the Mapleland Halloween event quests.

The Mansion That Awakens on Halloween

First, let’s look at The Mansion That Awakens on Halloween. These quests are available to players at level 15 and above. There are 10 frightening monsters, 6 NPCs, and 18 quests in total. Completing these Halloween-exclusive quests will earn you a variety of rewards. For full details, visit the official Mapleland website linked below.

Cassandra’s Halloween Quiz

Click the star notification button to bring up Cassandra. She’s prepared a quiz to celebrate Halloween, with 3 questions in total.

The first question asks for the date of Halloween. This one is straightforward: select October 31.

Next, she asks where the Halloween event takes place. This might be a little confusing, but select Haunted House—that’s the name of the map.

The final question asks how to get to the Haunted House. Take the subway from Kerning City to New Leaf City, then take the NLC Taxi. That means the third option is the correct answer.

Once you’ve answered all the questions, you can claim your reward. There are 4 options: a Frankenstein Mask, a Mummy Hat, a Skull Hat, and a Frankenstein Hat. You can choose only one of the 4.

With the reward equipped, my character looks like someone out of The Phantom of the Opera. That’s my Halloween costume sorted for today. Now I’m heading straight to the Haunted House in my new outfit.

Trick or Treat

The next event involves the girls in Halloween costumes. I’ve completed this quest before: all you need to do is give them 20 Halloween Candies. I’d already stocked up on Halloween Candy during the previous Halloween quests.

Hand over the Halloween Candy to receive a Halloween Pumpkin Box as your reward. Keep in mind that the Pumpkin Box is a time-limited item and expires on November 14.
