This post was created as part of Nexon's PEAK activities.

Private Theater lets you watch YouTube videos

with friends in Mabinogi Mobile.

Since the feature was added on April 9, 2026,
some players trying to invite friends have been unable to enter
or have had trouble finding the required quest.

I looked into the cause after receiving questions

from friends who wanted to use Private Theater.
The quest itself only requires you to talk to an NPC,
but you cannot find 메라, the starting NPC, until you complete a prerequisite quest.

This guide explains where to start “A Cozy Theater, Private Theater” and walks you through the quest,
including how to complete its easy-to-miss prerequisite.

🎬 Private Theater Quest Info

Category	Details
Quest Name	A Cozy Theater, Private Theater
Starting NPC	메라
NPC Location	Under the large tree beside Tir Chonaill Square
Prerequisite Quest	Find a Photo Spot: Wolf Rock
Completion Reward	Private Theater item

Private Theater lets you watch YouTube videos
with your party members in Mabinogi Mobile.
You need the Private Theater item even to join a theater hosted by another player,
so you must complete the tutorial quest to use the feature.

If 메라 is missing or you cannot accept the quest,
first check whether you have completed the prerequisite, “Find a Photo Spot: Wolf Rock.”

🔎 Accepting the Prerequisite Quest

The prerequisite quest begins with 메라's photo mode tutorial.
At level 22, you meet 메라 on your way to the subjugation quest on Ciar Dungeon's 2nd floor.
메라 explains how to take photos, then gives you a book on the subject.

Read the book to find a photo of Wolf Rock tucked inside.
Use the photo to start a quest that asks you to take a picture at the same location.

If you have already completed this tutorial but missed the quest,
check your inventory for the items below.

1	Open the Quest tab in your inventory
2	Look for a book called How to Take Great Photos
3	If you do not have the book, look for a photo called Someone's Photo of Wolf Rock
4	Use the item you have to accept the “Find a Photo Spot: Wolf Rock” quest

📷 Taking a Photo at Wolf Rock

1	Follow the quest navigator and compass to Wolf Rock
2	Find Wolf Rock at the entrance to Wolf Forest, a hunting ground in Tir Chonaill
3	Take a photo using photo mode
4	Return to 메라 under the large tree beside Tir Chonaill Square

Once you have accepted the quest, go to the location shown in the photo and take a picture.
If you have trouble finding it, follow the navigator and compass.
Return to 메라 after taking the photo to complete the prerequisite quest.

🎥 Unlocking Private Theater

1	Find 메라 under the large tree beside Tir Chonaill Square
2	Accept the “A Cozy Theater, Private Theater” quest
3	Talk to 메라 to learn about Private Theater's features and how to use it

You can complete this simple quest just by talking to 메라,
with no combat or complicated tasks required.
Use the item you receive to access Private Theater.

📌  Watching Together
