Today, we're returning to 메이플 플래닛 for the first time in a while. MapleStory has a group of classes known as Heroes. Which Hero class was the first to be released in MapleStory? That would be Aran. And the second? Evan, the Dragon Master. Evan is a Hero who forms a pact with Mir, an Onyx Dragon, and the two set off on an adventure together. In this guide, we'll cover the 1st–4th advancement skill build for Evan, a Hero in 메이플 플래닛.

1st–3rd Advancement Skills

• 1st: Magic Missile 1 -> Dragon Soul M -> Magic Missile M

• 2nd: Fire Circle 1 -> Teleport M -> Fire Circle M

• 3rd: Lightning Bolt 1 -> Magic Guard M -> Lightning Bolt M

For the 1st advancement, put 1 point into Magic Missile, max out Dragon Soul, then return to Magic Missile. Dragon Soul takes priority because it increases your magic attack and movement speed. For the 2nd advancement, put 1 point into Fire Circle, max out Teleport, then continue leveling Fire Circle. Teleport is your movement skill, so it makes sense to prioritize it. For the 3rd advancement, max out Magic Guard first—it's essential for survival.

4th–7th Advancement Skills

• 4th: Ice Breath 1 -> Spell Mastery M -> High Wisdom M -> Ice Breath M

• 5th: Magic Flare 1 -> Elemental Reset M -> Magic Shield M -> Magic Flare M

• 6th: Critical Magic M -> Dragon Thrust M

• 7th: Breath M -> Magic Amplification M -> Killing Wing M

For the 4th advancement, level up Spell Mastery to make your damage more consistent, then max out the High Wisdom passive. For the 5th advancement, max out Elemental Reset, which ignores monsters' elemental resistance and increases final damage. For the 6th advancement, put 1 point into Dragon Thrust, max out Magic Booster to improve your casting speed, then level up Critical Magic. For the 7th advancement, learn Breath, then max out Magic Amplification to increase your damage.

8th–10th Advancement Skills

• 8th: Earthquake M -> Dragon Fury M -> Phantom Imprint M

• 9th: Flame Wheel M -> Illusion M -> Magic Booster M

• 10th: Dark Fog M -> Soul Stone M -> Blessing of the Onyx M

Now for the final part of the build. For the 8th advancement, prioritize Earthquake, your main AoE skill, and the magic attack passive. From the 9th advancement onward, use Flame Wheel to clear mobs faster—it's a dedicated mobbing skill. For the 10th advancement, max out Dark Fog, your strongest AoE skill, first. Then max out Blessing of the Onyx to increase your magic attack.
