Playing games with friends is great,

but sometimes a little friendly wager on an in-game mini-game is a whole different kind of fun!



In Mabinogi Mobile, mini-games are called side games, and thanks to their simple rules,

they're easy to jump into, plus there's the fun of splitting into teams and facing off with friends or guild members,

which makes them perfect for playing together!

I recently teamed up with some guild members for a little side game showdown,

and we even bet drinks on the outcome. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

And the result... our team won!! ✌

Our guild members are usually off doing their own battles or dailies, so getting everyone together like this

turned out to be way more fun than I expected!!

And as it happens, Mabinogi Mobile recently added a new side game called 컬러 러시 블리츠.

So today, with the new 컬러 러시 블리츠 in the mix, I want to show you 3 mini-games that are great to play with friends or guild members!

1. Paint the tiles your color! 컬러 러시 블리츠

First up is 컬러 러시 블리츠, which arrived in the October 1 update.

4 players run around an arena, turning the floor tiles their own color,

and whoever controls the most tiles at the end wins the mini-game.

So freaking fun

It sounds like a simple turf war on paper, but the route you take really matters.

The arena has two types of Rush Zones, + / -, which speed you up or slow you down.

Passing through + Rush Zones builds your combo, and hitting a 4-combo activates Booster Mode.

But step on a - Rush Zone and you'll slow down and lose your combo, so watch out!

At the end, you get a top-down view of the final board,

then the results pop up to wrap up the mini-game.

I can see this being a lot of fun with friends, stealing each other's tiles as you battle it out!

You never know who'll take 1st place until the very end, so it looks like a great pick for those extra-competitive friends. ㅋㅋㅋ

• Recommended for: Players who like quick competitive games or chasing high scores

The current 컬러 러시 블리츠 event also lets you earn gold and dyes based on how many times you play.

Just keep in mind that the event reward period ends on October 15, 2026, at 5:59 AM!

2. Find your friends! 변신 숨바꼭질

Next up is 라사의 마법교실: 변신 숨바꼭질.

Just like the name suggests, this mini-game has you using transformation magic to hide from the seeker,

or switching things around and hunting down your hidden friends.

When the game starts, players are divided into students who seek and students who hide.

The hiding students can use transformation potions to blend in as objects around them.

But here's a fun little twist.

You leave footprints when you move!

Seekers can follow those footprints straight to you, so instead of wandering around aimlessly,

you'll want to pick your hiding spot carefully.

You can erase your own footprints, though!

Meanwhile, seekers have to use magic that cancels transformations or tracking potions to find the hiding students.

With friends, I bet the whole vibe changes depending on who ends up being the seeker, right?

• Parties with friends: Form a party of up to 4 to enter together

• Recommended for: Players who enjoy hide-and-seek, chases, and messing with friends

A standard match lasts 3 minutes and 30 seconds, while matches in larger classrooms last 4 minutes and 45 seconds.

Matches are pretty short, so this could be a nice little break between other activities, too.

3. Read each other's moves to survive! 눈치 폭탄 챌린지

Last up is 눈치 폭탄 챌린지, the mini-game that really puts your ability to read your friends' moves to the test more than either of the other two.

In this one, 4 players dodge bombs and move onto safe tiles together.

Here's the big rule: only one person can stand on each tile.

Even if your tile is bomb-free, land on the same one as another player and... boom! You fail.

This is the ideal setup

So being quick on your feet isn't enough to get you through this one.

You've got to watch where your friends are heading and pick different tiles. (Tsk..!)

Play this kind of game with friends and there's bound to be at least one

“Wait!! What are you doing?! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ”

moment. Guaranteed… ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

The rules are simple enough, but as the timer ticks down, I can just picture everyone trying to read each other's moves and scrambling all over the place.

• Difficulty: Beginner / Hard / Very Hard

Personally, if I had to pick one of the three to try first with friends, I think I'd start here.

Competing is fun, but trying to second-guess each other and bickering along the way is bound to make for even more laughs.
