Today, we're looking at MapleStory class rankings: easy-mode picks for newbies. Even in the off-season, plenty of players are jumping into MapleStory. Here's a quick rundown of classes worth trying in the next Challenger World—or leveling in regular worlds now as your potential main.

1. Hero

First up is Hero. Before the balance patch, the class was so underwhelming that players called it the forgotten Explorer Warrior. Since the patch, though, Hero has shot up the ranks to become one of the strongest Warriors, and players are flocking to it.

There's a running jinx that whoever tops the Hero rankings for converted stats always ends up switching classes. This patch might finally break that streak.

2. Kaiser

Next up is Kaiser. With buffs just as big as Hero's, it has claimed the undisputed top spot. Its kit got so many improvements that one longtime Kaiser player summed it up as, “They gave us everything we asked for.” I'd say it's now well worth picking as your main.

3. Dual Blade

Third on the list is Dual Blade. Explorer Thieves received major buffs alongside the other Explorer classes. Dual Blade stood out in particular: once considered mediocre across the board for damage, it got buffs to every skill and climbed to tier 1.5. It's now a dependable all-rounder for both mobbing and bossing.

That wraps up our MapleStory class rankings: easy-mode picks for newbies. The winter event is still a while away, so even if you're not ready to start leveling just yet, it's worth planning ahead and choosing which class you want to main.
