This year, MapleStory M is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a long-running mobile game.

As a MapleStory M player in my third year, I want to talk about what makes this game so fun.

A game that’s perfect for working adults

The biggest advantage of a mobile game is its “accessibility.”

With MapleStory, you have to turn on your computer... and go through the hassle of launching the game,

but with Maple M, as long as you have your phone, you can jump in right away!

I think the best part is simply being able to play MapleStory on your phone.

Varied bosses / original content

It feels similar to MapleStory, but it also has its own differences.

There are original classes (Sia, Erel, Aiel) and original bosses (Akan, Azazel).

There’s something really fun about getting rewards from bosses..!

The fun of progression

Right now, I think I gain 1 level about every 3 weeks?

Combat power went from 970,000 → 640 million

Back then, I could only go up to Suu, but now I can go all the way to Karing!

These days, solo bossing has become so common that it feels a little disappointing,

but there’s also party-play content like battlefields, so it’s still really fun playing together with guild members!
