Hallorong~ (˶ˊꇴˋو(و ⁾⁾
I’m Nexon Picker Dalnyang.
If you’re looking for a game to enjoy at a relaxed pace while soaking up those autumn vibes~
How about Mabinogi Mobile these days? It actually matches the mood pretty well ㅎㅎ
With Chuseok here recently, they’ve added content that really feels seasonal, like the full moon, songpyeon, and top-spinning,
and when you walk around the game, even players’ outfits have been slowly shifting from summer to autumn vibes
little by little, so it really made me feel like the season had definitely changed.
I’ve been going through the recent Chuseok events one by one too, collecting songpyeon, checking out the event stuff in Dunbarton,
and even trying the top-spinning game,
and then when I suddenly looked around at the players nearby, I realized that where I used to see lots of summer outfits with short sleeves or more exposed looks,
these days, there are way more characters wearing autumn-feeling outfits, like long sleeves or calmer color palettes,
and now I’m starting to notice characters who look a lot less chilly too ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Looking at everyone else’s girls, I caught myself thinking, “Ah, so even the season inside the game is changing too~?” They must be warmer now~
So in this post, I’m going to go over the autumn atmosphere I could feel from
Mabinogi Mobile, focusing on the recent Chuseok events and outfit changes.

① Autumn vibes you can feel through the Chuseok events
② The changing sense of season in players’ outfits too
③ Why Mabinogi Mobile is worth enjoying in autumn
1. Autumn vibes you can feel through the Chuseok events
The first thing that really made me feel the season this time was, of course, the Chuseok event.
Starting September 17 in Mabinogi Mobile,
|
Quest |
|---|
|
Erinn Under the Full Moon |
|
In Search of Sweet Honey Songpyeon for Chuseok! |
|
Chuseok Songpyeon Exchange Shop! |
and other Hangawi-themed events are being held together.
The main Chuseok events can be played until October 15 at 5:59 AM!
|| Erinn Under the Full Moon ||

You can feel the Hangawi mood just from the name, right? ㅋㅋㅋ
You can progress through the daily event by talking with Chudoryeong and Chunangja in Dunbarton Square.
Dunbarton is usually somewhere I pass through all the time while picking up quests or heading to other areas,
but once you add seasonal NPCs and an event like this, even the same place starts to feel a little different?!
Personally, I think this is part of what makes seasonal events so fun.
A place you normally pass by without much thought starts to feel like a space that belongs to that season during the event period
So instead of just collecting rewards, I also found myself looking around the changed-up area near Dunbarton Square while playing,
and that made the Chuseok atmosphere come through even more~
|| Feeling the Hangawi mood while collecting songpyeon ||

In this event, you can obtain the ‘Unexpected Bond Songpyeon Set’ while playing dungeons or hunting grounds.
You can exchange the songpyeon you collect at the «Chuseok Songpyeon Exchange Shop» for various items,
and if you just look at the system itself, it’s the usual event-currency collection format you see all the time,
but just the fact that the currency is “songpyeon” made Chuseok feel that much more real.
When I’m fighting and running dungeons like usual and see songpyeon piling up one by one, it really does make it feel like a holiday event is
going on right now too.
If you’re like me and enjoy collecting items in games or keeping up with seasonal events,
I think you’ll be able to feel the season even through little details like this.
|| A relaxing little breather with ‘Let’s Spin Tops Together!’ ||

This Chuseok, a side game called «Let’s Spin Tops Together!» was added too.
You can play it from [Menu(≡) → Side Game], and it runs until October 1 at 5:59 AM.
I’m usually focused on fighting as a Dark Mage, cycling skills and dealing damage,
so playing a little top-spinning minigame was a nice mood refresher and gave things more of a small everyday-life kind of vibe ㅋㅋㅋ
So yeah, my conclusion is that it was a minigame that fit this Chuseok mood really well!
During the holiday, instead of just sticking to progression content the whole time, mixing in little minigames like this here and there
just feels like it suits the mood better.
Especially if you play a round or two and then go back to what you were originally doing, it gives you that nice little breather feeling too.
2. The changing sense of season in players’ outfits too
And something that unexpectedly made me really feel that the season had changed this time was other players’ outfits.
In summer, I used to see lots of lighter or more revealing outfits and cool-toned styling,
but once autumn came around, the mood started changing little by little.

Part of that is because new outfits came out, but I also started seeing more players in long sleeves or outerwear-style looks, using warm colors like brown and beige, and overall I kept noticing more and more players walking around in outfits that absolutely gave off autumn vibes.
And from the Chuseok event,

there were also lots of players dyeing and wearing hanbok too~
Even if the game map itself doesn’t suddenly get covered in autumn leaves,
just seeing the outfits of the players around you change was enough to make it feel like
the season inside the game was changing too.
In real life too, once summer passes, short sleeves start disappearing one by one and long sleeves or outerwear start showing up, right?
It felt similar in Mabinogi Mobile, where players started changing their characters’ clothes,
so it almost felt like autumn had arrived in Erinn too.
If you’re like me and love character coordination or think checking out other players’ outfits is part of the fun of gaming,
then I think these changes will stand out even more to you.
Especially this Chuseok season, if you also use Hangawi-style outfits, they go really well with the event backdrop,
and they’re great for taking screenshots too.
I also thought it would be really pretty to put together one autumn-style outfit and take photos in Dunbarton or somewhere with natural scenery.
3. Why Mabinogi Mobile is worth enjoying in autumn
What I felt while playing this Chuseok event was that just because a game lets you enjoy autumn vibes,
it doesn’t necessarily have to have areas filled with autumn leaves or autumn-exclusive BGM.
Foods that represent the season, like songpyeon, show up, games like top-spinning get added, and even the players around you
naturally start changing into autumn clothes, so when all these little elements come together one by one, they create that seasonal feeling!
To sum up the autumn elements I felt this season simply, it’s like this.
|
Elements that made autumn feel real |
Personal point |
|---|---|
|
Full moon · Chuseok event |
Even familiar Erinn felt like it had a Hangawi atmosphere |
|
Collecting quest currency [Songpyeon] |
Your usual gameplay itself connects to the Chuseok event |
|
Minigame (Let’s Spin Tops Together!) |
It was a nice little minigame for the holiday period |
|
Players’ changing outfits |
It really felt like the season had changed inside the game too |
So this autumn especially, I’d recommend Mabinogi Mobile to players who like taking things slow with life content, outfits, and seasonal events.
Rather than just speedrunning combat and logging off, when you have a little spare time in the evening, you can try some event quests,
check out other players’ outfits, and if you find a place you like, snap a screenshot or two.
If you play like that, at some point you’ll find yourself thinking, “Ah, there really is a side of this game you can only see in this season.”
and that kind of feeling stays with you too, y’know?
While going through this Chuseok event, Mabinogi Mobile felt similar to other games in that
it’s the kind of game where you can watch the season slowly change inside the game too.
The event themed around the full moon, plus seasonal content like songpyeon and top-spinning, were all part of that,
but personally, I felt the seasonal shift even more from seeing players who had been wearing summer clothes start changing one by one into autumn-feeling outfits.
Just like how changing clothes in real life makes you really feel that autumn has arrived,
it was fun seeing that same kind of change show up in the game too. ㅋㅋㅋ
Seeing people instantly dress their characters in long sleeves and long pants the moment the real weather gets chilly was way too cute.
If you’re looking for a game you can enjoy without it feeling too intense while still soaking in the autumn mood,
then slowly enjoying Mabinogi Mobile during this autumn season sounds like a pretty nice choice too.
Alright, I’ll wrap things up here for today.
I’ll be back next time with another game story.
