MapleStory has those prime screenshot spots too, right?

You know, places like these. But did you know?

Mabinogi Mobile has them too!! When you’re playing, even on your way into a fight,

sometimes you end up stopping like “Oh... this background is kinda pretty?” because there are actually plenty of great screenshot spots.

When I take screenshots in games, the biggest things I care about are whether the background itself looks good

and whether the overall vibe works when I place my character in it.

Especially in Mabinogi Mobile, photo mode lets you adjust the aspect ratio, zoom, and even background blur,

so the exact same spot can feel totally different depending on how you frame it.

And since each region has such a distinct mood—snowfields, forests, wastelands, that kind of thing—

it’s also really fun hunting down places that match your outfit~

Just so you know! You can access photo mode through “Menu (≡) → Photo Mode.”

Honestly, posing our characters and taking pics is basically the whole reason we dress them up, isn’t it?!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

So in this post, I’m going to share 3 major photo spots that are actually used as in-game screenshot locations, plus

2 personal photo spots I found while wandering around and ended up loving—for a total of 5 spots.

1. Before taking screenshots, make use of photo mode

Before you head out to look for photo spots, there’s one feature you’ll want to know first: photo mode.

In Mabinogi Mobile, once you enter photo mode, you can choose whether players, pets, NPCs, and monsters are displayed,

and you can also hide nameplates and speech bubbles or blur the background.

You can choose your aspect ratio from FULL / 4:3 / 1:1,

and switch zoom between 0.5x / 1x / 3x too.

On PC, you can also hide the photo UI with Ctrl+H. (Or lol, you can just click the eye icon.)

If it were me, for scenery shots I’d go wide with 0.5x,

and for outfit-focused shots, I’d recommend framing your character a little bigger and using background blur.

Especially if you take photos for a game diary or a blog thumbnail, I feel like just running it through photo mode once makes everything look way cleaner than leaving the UI on.

For the photo settings I personally recommend (totally subjective!!!), check the table below.

2. 3 major photo spots worth checking out at least once

|| Places I found through side quests - Maple Falls, Winter Footprints, Sand Rock ||

Mabinogi Mobile actually has side quests built around finding photo locations.

In front of the tree next to the Tir Chonaill campfire	Mera

Out of those, [Maple Falls], [Winter Footprints], and [Sand Rock] all have totally different vibes,

so they work really well as photo spots!

All three are used as actual shooting locations in the in-game photo spot quest.

■ Maple Falls ■

First up is Maple Falls in Goddess’s Garden.

This spot is known to be near the lakeside between Areas 4 and 5 of Goddess’s Garden.

With reddish-orange maple leaves and water in the same frame,

this is probably the warmest-looking of the three spots.

Especially if you’re wearing beige, brown, or other warm-toned outfits, I think they’d match the background really nicely.

Instead of placing your character big and dead center,

I’d recommend stepping back a little and going with a wider composition that includes both the maple leaves and the waterfall.

■ Winter Footprints ■

If you want a bright white winter backdrop instead of an autumn vibe, Winter Footprints in Ice Gorge is a solid pick too.

The photo spot is above Area 4 in Ice Gorge, near the Ice Mine Settlement.

Since it’s full of snow and ice, the background itself doesn’t feel too busy,

and dark outfits or pastel looks in particular tend to make your character stand out nicely.

If it were me, instead of matching the snowy background completely with all-white clothes,

I’d probably try colors that contrast with the snowfield, like navy, black, or lavender.

■ Sand Rock ■

If you want something a bit more fantasy-like and rugged, there’s also Sand Rock in Cloud Wasteland.

The shooting point is above Area 5 in Cloud Wasteland, near the south of ‘Fragment Left by the Wind’.

Rather than being pretty and cozy like Maple Falls or the snowy area from earlier,

the wasteland colors and wide-open view make this a much better fit for adventurer-style screenshots.

That’s the kind of place it is.

I think using a stronger-looking outfit or taking the shot with your weapon drawn would give you something with a very different vibe from the other two spots.

3. 2 photo spots I personally like

The well-known spots are great too, but personally, sometimes the photos that stick with me most are the ones I took

in places I just happened to stumble across and went, “Oh, this place is nice?”~

So for the last two, instead of famous locations, I picked places I visited myself and really liked.

|| 3.1 Tir Chonaill - Observatory ||

This one is near the observatory in Tir Chonaill.

It’s also where the journey begins, and if you go at dawn / in the morning / before evening, the atmosphere really hits different,

so I like taking shots there while trying out a few poses.

Personally, I don’t think a photo spot has to be famous.

If it matches your character’s outfit well and makes you think, “I want to save at least one shot here.” then

that place ends up becoming your own personal photo spot anyway.

This one is at the Fountain of Romance, in front of the Pontiff's Main Cathedral in Emain Macha.

I already love styles like uniforms, gothic, and baroque, so there was no way I wasn’t going to love Emain Macha.

And out of those, these are the spots that are obviously made for taking photos.

I especially like the area in front of the Pontiff's Main Cathedral.

If you take screenshots there wearing the newly released Grand Ensemble outfit, it looks insanely good.

Of course... I still haven’t gotten custom dyes yet, so mine isn’t dyed...ㅠ…

The screenshot spots in Emain Macha really shine if you go at dawn/in the morning, so that’s the time I’d recommend.

When you’re progressing through the game, it’s easy to focus only on your destination and rush right past everything,

but I think it’s nice to stop and look around once in a while too.

You might unexpectedly discover a background that’s exactly your taste in a place that has nothing to do with any quest.

If you’ve been looking for good places to take screenshots in Mabinogi Mobile,

I’d really recommend wandering around Erinn again and personally looking for places that match your outfit well

for yourself.

Especially if you love putting together outfits or keeping a game diary,

why not take another look at the backgrounds you used to run past while focusing only on battle?

There might be more spots than you’d expect that make you go, “Wait... was this place always this pretty...?” ㅋㅋㅋ
