Looking for games to play over the holiday? MapleStory, Mabinogi Mobile, and FC ONLINE are worth considering.

From character progression to traditional holiday games and football, there is something for a range of tastes. Progression support and limited-time events are also underway. This guide covers what to play over the Chuseok holiday, with a focus on each game's latest updates and events.

MapleStory

MapleStory launched a new Hyper Burning Booster event on September 17. Its 1+4 bonus grants 4 additional levels every time you level up, up to level 260. The booster distribution event runs until December 16. Boosters can be used on level 10–258 characters that are not already Hyper Burning characters.

If you have already reached level 260, consider Personal Burning. Eligible characters must be at least level 260 but below level 300 and have completed the “Another Power, Sacred Power” quest. Through November 18, tailored progression missions and other activities offer EXP and rewards. Only one character can be selected per registered account holder, and that choice cannot be changed.

I leveled 레테 to 260 during the previous Hyper Burning event and am now leveling Ren as an alternate character. 레테 made it easy to clear large groups of enemies, while Ren appealed to me for the satisfying sword strikes and stylish drawing and sheathing animations. The holiday is a good opportunity to pick a new class and level it up.

“Protect Argo,” which runs until November 18, is also worth checking out. Once you register for the event, logging in completes reconnaissance and earns rewards such as EXP coupons and Argo Coins. You can complete reconnaissance up to 5 times a week, making it easy to focus on leveling when you have time and collect login rewards on busier days.

Mabinogi Mobile

Mabinogi Mobile offers activities that capture the spirit of Chuseok.

Start with “Top Spinning Together!” in the menu's Side Games section. Complete 1 play to earn 50,000 gold, then earn 5 dyes each on your 2nd and 3rd plays. The reward event runs until October 1 at 5:59 a.m.

Yut sticks and a game board are also available in Dunbarton's open area. Until October 15 at 5:59 a.m., you can play yutnori by having your character interact directly with the sticks and playing pieces. It is a good option for anyone looking to take a break from combat and enjoy a traditional holiday game with other players.

Collectors can work toward the Hangawi Hanbok Set. Complete hunting ground and dungeon missions to earn up to 10 “Unexpected Connection Songpyeon Sets” per server each day. Collect songpyeon from these sets, then trade them at the exchange shop for a hanbok set, the “Soft and Squishy” title, progression materials, and more.

Each songpyeon set contains random items, so you will need to gather the required types and quantities. Songpyeon collection and the exchange shop both remain available until October 15 at 5:59 a.m.

Players coming back after a long break should also check the returning player support on offer. “Busy, Busy, Jumping Up!” is available to accounts that have not logged in for 30 days or more. Completing the “A Certain Favor” quest awards a level 55 skip ticket and 10 pet tickets. Keep in mind that some skipped quests cannot be replayed. If you want to experience the story yourself, check which quests will be skipped before using the ticket.

FC ONLINE

FC ONLINE is running the “Hangawi Songpyeon Basket” event until October 1 at 11:59 p.m. Collect songpyeon boxes through matches, the Battle Pass, and various missions. Then use Agent to combine the songpyeon from those boxes and exchange them for rewards.

Songpyeon boxes can be collected as part of your regular play sessions. Daily missions award 2 boxes for staying logged in for at least 60 minutes. Weekly missions offer additional boxes for meeting requirements related to days logged in, total login time, and transfer market sales. Check the Mission Hub as you play matches over the holiday.

“Fatten Up a Horse with 35 Days of Logins,” which runs until October 28, is another event to consider. Reach 7, 14, 21, and 28 total login days to receive 100 FC at each milestone. At 35 days, you can choose a reward and receive a coupon for a 50% discount on the total transaction fee.

The rewards for 1, 7, and 14 total login days also include 2 Precious Honey Songpyeon each as a limited-time bonus. These songpyeon bonuses must be claimed by September 29 at 11:59 p.m.

A Special Login Event runs during the same period, with participation divided into rounds. It offers both free rewards and upgraded rewards that require FC or MC, so check the free options first. If you plan to play at a PC café, consider the Premium PC Café Event as well. It lets you earn coins based on time logged in and exchange them for items.
