Today, I’m recommending a few Nexon games to enjoy over the holiday break. During Chuseok and other long holidays, I often used to head down to Incheon, where my eldest uncle lived. Even with an age gap of around 7 to 15 years between me and my older cousins, I still remember us all going to the PC café together and playing games.

So whenever I visited during the holidays, there were always a few games I played with my cousins. Today, I’d like to recommend some Nexon games that are great for the holiday break and share why I picked them.

Overwatch

You can now enjoy Overwatch through Nexon. Before my older cousin got married, he used to play games a lot with my older brother and me! After that, it became one of the games we played whenever I came down for the holidays, and since publishing in Korea moved over to Nexon, I’ve been enjoying Overwatch there as well.

Recently, a wide range of updates have been rolling out, and new heroes keep joining the roster. The new tank hero Demon is already being used by plenty of players, and the new support hero Doctrine, revealed at this year’s BlizzCon, is also expected to be added soon, so there’s a lot to look forward to!

Sudden Attack

Sudden Attack is one of Nexon’s longest-running games. Between ranked matches and the introduction of the Sudden Pass, it feels like even more players have been jumping in and enjoying it.

Along with familiar maps from the past still appearing, the game now also has a fixed tier system, which makes it feel like even more players are joining in. There are plenty of returning players like me too, people who used to play and have now come back. This holiday, I’m planning to run A Supply Depot as a clan match with my cousins.

FC Online

FC Online has been running all kinds of holiday events ever since its FIFA days. In particular, these holiday events have always been so rewarding that lots of players enjoy them.

This time as well, the Enhancement Day and enhancement boost events are being held again. If you’re hoping for that life-changing enhancement, this could be a great chance to give it a try!

Rather than focusing on relaxing games to unwind with over the holiday break, I ended up introducing games that hold special events during these rare once-or-twice-a-year holidays, along with games that are tied to family memories for me.
