 Chuseok ’26 is already next week. With fewer than ten days to go, I’m feeling that familiar holiday excitement. Holidays have been a little different since I got married, but the promise of a few days off never loses its appeal. Of course, I won’t know how much of the break I’ll actually have to myself until it arrives. But one thing is certain: I am getting that hanbok. I absolutely am. The Chuseok hanbok is here! Let me tell you why Mabinogi Mobile is a must-play over the holiday.

 First up, the hanbok. I simply have to get it. I’m still happily wearing the hanbok I got for Lunar New Year. Back then, I picked the durumagi coat on the left, so this time I’m going for the skirt. I wanted both at the time, but my bank balance had other ideas, and I still regret missing out. They were just so lovely.

 This Chuseok, both hanbok outfits feature shades of blue. My goal this time is the skirt-style hanbok on the right—I really, really want that headpiece. You can buy the outfits in the cash shop, but since I only spend a little on the game, I’ll be taking advantage of the event instead. They cost 3,300 Cash, or 33,000 won each.

 Open the Events tab, and you’ll find the Chuseok Songpyeon Exchange. As of September 19, there should be 25 days left; the screenshot was taken on the 17th. Now, look right at the top of the exchange items! Under the Harvest Festival Treasure and Songpyeon Set Collection, you’ll find a Harvest Festival Hanbok Set Shopping Bag that lets you choose one of the two outfits.

 The important question, then, is how to get songpyeon. To start, clearing dungeons or hunting grounds will earn you 10 Unexpected Connection Songpyeon Sets per day. With 25 days left as of the 19th, that should work out to about 250 sets. You can also get them through the attendance event and the event with 추도령.

"Heartfelt" Devotion Songpyeon Sets let you "choose" one of the items inside, while "Unexpected" Connection Songpyeon Sets can give you either a Heartfelt Devotion Songpyeon Set, which lets you choose your songpyeon, or one of 10 songpyeon at random. That’s why I plan to open random sets as soon as I collect them, while saving songpyeon selection sets for later to fill in any songpyeon I’m missing.





Here’s a breakdown of the songpyeon varieties:

Epic grade: two in the Savory series, Savory Azalea Songpyeon and Savory White Jade Songpyeon.

Elite grade: three in the Sweet series, Sweet Forsythia Songpyeon, Sweet Mugwort-Green Songpyeon, and Sweet Mulberry Songpyeon.

Rare grade: five varieties, Forsythia, Mugwort-Green, Mulberry, Azalea, and White Jade.



 There’s quite a bit more to do for Chuseok, too, from the new Spin Tops Together side game, where you can earn dyes, to making wishes to the moon and clearing the newly opened Nightmare Drill. So while I certainly have other things to take care of over the holiday, I’ll still be trying to fit in some time on Mabinogi Mobile whenever I can.
